Are there any celebrity members of ATS?
If so, who are they?
Would they ever be inclined to reveal themselves?
Would you reveal yourself with so much to lose and little to gain?
What about politicians? For all we know we could be arguing back and forth with the POTUS about what constitutes as proof of the existance of UFOs.
Just a thought.

Yeah, Jesus, I was wondering that myself! I would not be surprised if there are some clandestine celebrities here. Don't count on them to let us know, however!
BTW, your name is crackin me up over here. I get to call you Jesus and talk to you casually (through threads, of course).
That's just hysterical.
Not one bit of disrespect to you or anyone else.
Just find it humerous!

Oh, I'm sure we have a few famous peers, but revealing your true identity here would seem to require that the information tied to the pertinent account is information you're entirely comfortable accompanying your future reputation. How many of us can say that? This is considered an "alternative" website for a reason
!

Maybe having a few accounts is the answer--one for expression of fringe ideas, one for safer opinions. I'm sure that method has been used here before.

More than ONE account per person is a HUGE no no on ATS.......and if caught these guys can remotely blow up your computer

Here's a list of actors that have played Jesus on TV and in the movies.
I wouldn't know if any of them are members of Above Top Secret.

* Willem Dafoe in The Last Temptation of Christ
* James Caviezel in The Passion of the Christ
* Jeremy Sisto in Jesus (made for tv)
* Brian Deacon in Jesus (from '79)
* Claude Heater in Ben-Hur
* Kenneth Colley in Life of Brian
* Ted Neeley in Jesus Christ Superstar
* William Powell in Jesus Of Nazareth
* Max Von Sydow in The Greatest Story Ever Told
* H.B. Warner in The King Of Kings
* Jeffrey Hunter in the King of Kings ('61)

And welcome to ATS and I hope you enjoy your stay.

Jesus H Christ? Hm, I bet my daddy can kick your daddys butt in a fair fight. Throwing burning bushes and using the old turning someone to salt trick is cheating by the way.

Robbie Williams is still here (I think).

He used to be chrisonabike, but I'm not sure if he has changed user names.

The front man of Circa Survive (a fairly big band you know nothing about
)used to post occasionally too.

I'm fairly certain that with the topics ATS covers, being the number one website for those topics would attract many interested parties.

I'm sure some of them are 'famous', but making it known would make their ATS life hell (unless staff intervened like they did for Robbie). They would be hounded like they are in public, so using the internet's great ability to become anonymous is probably handy.

I am sure there are, and I am sure they want their identity to remain anonymous like anyone else here on ATS. Myself included. I am honestly a bit disappointed people outed Robbie, but not too much as it was nothing using the search feature wouldn't have provided anyway.

My advice.. just enjoy the discussions for what they are and don't worry about the social status of the people you are talking to, that is not what we are here for.

I was on a nationally televised reality show, but I don't think that's "celeb" enough, hehe....(as it was only an episode, and it was "A Wedding Story", lol..).

More amazing than celebs, is the surprising number of people here with jobs in the defense and clandestine areas of government. (and that's just the ones who have revealed themselves to members and/or staff)...or who have close relatives in such areas...

I'm not naming names...up to them to decide if they ever want to reveal the information, some have, especially in the related forums. I've basically grown up in the defense industry, but I still don't know much beyond what anyone could learn from research.

Yeah....i don't think celebs would wanna reveal themselves really.
Would be a bad move...

We They... would not want the publicity or hassle...i would have thought.

I'm not even famous in the Star Wars universe
I guess that is to happen when you are a Self Proclaimed Dark Lord of the Sith. I mean come on, not all Darths can be Vader, or Sidious! I'd even settle for Darth Maul celebrity status, everyone thinks he's cool, but people don't take me seriously. That makes me a very sad Darth (hangs head)
