Authorities reviewing alleged UFO sighting

www.upi.com

HOUSTON, June 3 (UPI) -- Police in Liberty County, Texas, say they are working with the FBI and the Federal Aviation Administration in a review of an alleged UFO sighting.

Ken DeFoor, Liberty County Sheriff's Department chief deputy, told The Houston Chronicle Tuesday an ExpressJet Airlines pilot claimed to have seen on object flying near Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

This was a pretty strange story. The title suggests that it may be a UFO in question but the pilot said it might have been a rocket or a missle. Now the strange thing is a pilot sees what he descibes as a rocket or missle but the alleged UFO sighting sighting is slapped on there. What is your take on it what would you be more interested in reporting a UFO or a pilot seeing a missle in the sky?

Have we forgotten what UFO stands for? They're not sure what it was therefore it's unidentified.. not little green men in flying saucers.

i know and nowhere did i say anything about flying saucers the title was alleged UFO and not alleged missle or alleged rocket. If they were going by the deffinition of UFO the title would say revewing UFO sighting as in reviewing the sighting of an unidentified flying object.
alleged means: Represented as existing or as being as described but not so proved; supposed. So it is a UFO (by deffinition) but it is allegedly a rocket or missle.
