What happened to the "Why didnt you know thread"

The thread you are referring to was removed because it consisted exclusively of material taken from another website without properly citing the source.

When one finds an article online that one wishes to share with the membership, according to our Terms and Conditions it is the member's responsibility to post an excerpt of the external content using [ ex] tags and properly attribute the source of the article.

Additionally, we expect that the member will post some of their own content as well, such as why they found the article interesting and what their thoughts on it are.

The above was communicated to the member who posted this thread and they are certainly welcome to post the content again following those guidelines.
