Maybe people could have just looked at the image data and saved 9 pages of trouble:

The exif data has been removed (or never existed in the first place).

That leaves only 2 conclusions:

It was removed to hide a photoshop tag.
This image was not taken with a camera, and is an export from an image program.

Hoax.

i can disprove that with time once i recieve the data transfer chord to transfer the original picture from the original source that i am hoping has this code you are looking for. if i have to mail the phone to the mod to "spare" me from "dismembership" i will be more than happy to.

I thought you said earlier that this was the original image file from your phone camera, that was transferred several times before being uploaded?

Actually, edit to add: I may be jumping the gun. This is not the original file anymore, so the data is gone. Not the OP's fault (probably).

well then i dont know what file you are talking about. and well, i am still going to do it. so if it is or not there i guess whatever then. like i said, i know nothing about the details of technology so i wouldnt know hot to disprove this hoax ax. i took the picture. i emailed it to myself. downloaded to my comp. before that comp crashing i saved to disk, and downloaded to new comp. sat in folder for 11 months now on new comp until i came across it again after viewing someone elses thread that is worse than mine. but i gave him benefit of the doubt.

So do you still have that image file in that folder?

If so, you don't need your phone.

Use a website like Mega Upload to upload the file and link it here so we can download it.

If you have done as you say, the original camera data should still be in that image file. Would make (or break) your story if we could see that data.

this is a plainly obvious reflection, and if just glancing at the picture for half a second isn't enough evidence for you:

1) The bottom of the reflection looks very much like the interior of a car - the part under the window, or between the two front seats. The middle looks like the driver's leg.

2) On the bottom right corner of the picture, the edge of the window can be plainly seen. It is a *very* dark corner, suggesting it is something interior and not a surface in an open parking lot.

3) The power pole in the bottom right of the picture isn't as clearly defined as the clouds - to me this suggests motion blur, that it was taken from the inside of a moving vehicle.

4) The entire "object" is reflecting light from a different direction than the clouds.

5) There is absolutely nothing in this picture that would inspire the photographer to snap a shot. The only plausible reasons to take this picture are first, it was an accidental shot or second, it was a shot of a reflection with the intention to mislead people. If it was the latter (which I find highly likely), it really is poorly done and really under-estimates people.

Well i just ran it through my exif viewer and here is what it came up with

EXIF.Make / Software EXIF.Model Quality Subsamp Match?

CAM:[OLYMPUS OPTICAL CO.,LTD ] [C2000Z ] [ ] No
CAM:[OLYMPUS OPTICAL CO.,LTD ] [C40Z,D40Z ] [ ] No
CAM:[OLYMPUS OPTICAL CO.,LTD ] [C700UZ ] [ ] No
CAM:[SONY ] [DSC-H9 ] [ ] No
SW :[Apple ImageIO.framework ] [050 (Normal) ]
SW :[IJG Library ] [080 ]

The following IJG-based editors also match this signature:
SW :[GIMP ] [080 ]
SW :[IrfanView ] [080 ]
SW :[idImager ] [080 ]
SW :[FastStone Image Viewer ] [080 ]
SW :[NeatImage ] [080 ]
SW :[Paint.NET ] [080 ]
SW :[Photomatix ] [080 ]
SW :[XnView ] [080 ]

NOTE: JFIF COMMENT field is known software
Based on the analysis of compression characteristics and EXIF metadata:

ASSESSMENT: Class 1 - Image is processed/edited

It says that it is processed/edited, he can say how it was transfered and it is not the original blah blah blah. But it matches the signatures of some digital cameras and NOT a mobile phone.
HOAX

ha, i can prove the original is on my cell phone so, you can say all you want, but you are wrong. my cell phone does happen to be a digital camera so, .... whatever.

even the simple fact you changed your story on your camera phone after claiming it broke (probably to avoid people asking for originals) screams bad attempted hoax to me.

if you havent used a phone for a long time and couldnt find it when looking for it at first, what would you do? i just wanted to start the thread, it was done in haste. i had a day off and was hoping to gather some input. after starting i decided to search again and found it in my attic, and if that is such a hard thing to believe then i dont know... i dont know what to say, i think i have said all i can say. when i found it i came forward and said i found it. i have nothing to hide pertaining to this photo. if you dont like it fine, if you think its nbothing cool, if you think im hoaxing, im not, if you think theres a reflections fine, if you see something cool, then hooray, if you like it even better. thats it.

according to your story, you had taken the picture earlier in the day and uploaded it to your computer. on the same day as the post was made. its pretty darn hard to lose your cell phone when you've hooked it up to your PC - odds are its either still plugged in from when you noticed the pic and decided to post it, or you took it off and put it on its charger. The first places you would look besides your pocket.

your story is just highly unlikely and you're taking up a very active defensive stance. the pic itself is also extremely unconvincing.

then i ran a picture that was taken with am old nokia phone and it came up with this

CAM:[SONY ] [CYBERSHOT U ] [ ] Yes

At first I thought this was a shoop but as I look at it closer it simply looks like the vents that are on the top of the dashboard in the car being reflected with some type of object that looks like a cell phone charger or something next to it then a reflection of something else you can tell by the depth of the photo that its not in the clouds.

Some random pictures of dashboard reflections on google pretty simple stuff not exactly like it but gives the basic idea.

Dude, It does look like a reflection and in the bottom right corner it looks like the corner of a car door meeting the window pane. And the camera is at a sharp angle like looking outside of a car window almost like you were crouching in the seat to get as much veiw of the sky without getting any of the car in it. I am very skeptical but id it is real COOL!
