I don't know what happened prior to the attempted arrest, but when the man asks the officers why he's being arrested the officer replies "it doesn't matter".

Yes sir, it does matter.

The man then evokes God's name, recites poetry, and after being tased he hops up and takes off. All the while his wife is recording. Interesting video.

that is the coolest thing ever. That guy deserves 10 beers on ATS. I say we get a hold of him and invite him to a party. I wouldnt mind meeting those two they seem cool. The cops, well, id pay them to wear too-toos and dance around like fairies for a laugh.

I completely understand that the police have a job to do. In this case it seems they are trying to arrest him for some sort of warrant. The guy keeps saying "for changing my name, what law did I break?"

It also seems, for a moment, that the cops begin to take in what the man's saying. It's either the man had substantial strength, or the officers (maybe affected by what the man was saying) took it a little easy on him.

...and then of course they tase him.
