This is a really interesting thread.
These last weeks I have been seriously pondering about my own nature.

Since a little kid I was always curious about aliens and everything that is not commonly talked about. (At the age of 5 I wanted to be a philosopher - not realizing that I already was one).
At around 14 I started wanting to be abducted and I even told my mom so.
She kinda freaked out a little and tried to convince me that it wasn't really a good idea because people who got abducted came back retarded.

I have always had this sensation that people in general are absurdly ignorant and I still strive to understand why. But because I have a Buddhist background I kinda assumed that this sensation was just my ego trying to expand itself. But maybe that's not true and the sensation that I feel is something else that goes beyond my ego into my true nature.

I love this planet, but I feel that there is much more out there that I am missing and I can't wait to see what is it.

I think I may be one of the Star people. It explains a lot and resonates incredibly with me. What would you guys say?

Oh definitely.
You're as much from space as I am from heaven.

I myself am actually an angel, whose returned to Earth to do Gods bidding.

I know an old soul when I see one's texts, and you my friend, are certainly one.

Well I don't want to classify myself as a starchild, indigo or whatever.. I think they are classifications of ego. To be real I feel like I don't fit into the general population due to; the way I think and how non-linear it is in comparison to other people, I sometimes sense "things" like when friends will be approaching me or my twin brother in particular, I have a strong sense of self-intuition I know how things happen before I am told. Blah blah blah.

I sense strongly that this world is in trouble- greed of resources, materialistic objects, polution, overpopulation, negative advertismenting of sexual behaviors and so forth. This world is going to be "reset" to a more pure innocent state.

That is what I feel. And s@$#! I'm human wow!

Truly these are all romantic notions because in the end we are all born of human mothers. We live and die in this world regardless of any and all thoughts. We want to believe something more than what we are because as was stated above our lives fall short in one or more ways. The world around us is falling apart and we are left in it's wake. Honestly we are all aliens in any world we find ourselves in. This is a response to feeling an emptiness that we all have felt or feel. Some are more cognisant than others. Some can tap into farther reaches of life in the endless universe. There is mystery in our DNA that as yet has not come forward. These are all endless things that we can spend a lifetime pondering. Does it change our own daily lives in the world. Unlikely. It just makes us feel better for a short time. Why, because it fills a void.

There are over 6 billion people in this world and some will feel 'alien' because we cannot all feel the same. There are different levels of development also for each human being. Some more excelerated than others. Does this make one alien. Not really, we are still very much human.

But I say this to you, what does it matter if your lot is to live and die like everyone else in this world? Some will use anything to exploit for personal gain. This doesn't mean that we don't have a point of origin. We all do, where that is who can say. One thing is for sure, we all have been born of this earth to live and die here. Short of the rapture none of us are going anywhere except on that final voyage in the great beyond where we leave our bodies behind.

Perhaps every living creature is alien and human. Maybe they are one and the same.

You could get a wildly popular post by posting anything inflammatory. It has no bearing on importance. The question has not answered itself.

How many times have you posted now to stop this thread?

Consider it a Faith based thread/topic.

This is my Faith - my belief - it has as much right to be discussed as any other Faith belief.

What does the number of posts I have in this thread have to do with anything?

I'll consider this thread anything I want. As of now it's in the 'enjoyable trash' section.

Go ahead and discuss your thing... I wasn't even replying to anything you posted. I was replying to arizonascott who was equating the 33 pages of this thread to the thread's "importance" which is a silly immature notion. Like who's popular in high school.

There have been no questions answered in this thread.

Wow, I fit into those symptoms! But why does that make me an alien? Biologically I'm most certainly human and just because I fee like I don't belong, feel like I have a purpose, etc doesn't mean we need jump to the conclusion that I or anyone feeling similar is an extraterrestrial or star child or whatever else you want to call them...

Seeing that there is no logical reason to believe these individuals and myself are aliens I have to disagree with your beliefs about starpeople, ascension, and all that other new age cult-like silliness which has caught on in recent times. As much as I'd like to believe I'm some special highly evolved space traveler I have to disagree, and I have my doubts that there are any highly evolved space beings among us (though there may be some entirely human individuals who have more wisdom then others)...

I suppose I'll attempt to watch the videos in the OP anyway though, maybe they'll present some info to convince me

This woman in the videos says basically to do things that every human being will benefit from.
Eat more nutrient dense, natural foods, throw less toxic material into your body;
Exercise. Balanced lifestyle. Learn to control emotions eg. anger....

All backed up scientifically as increasing longevity and improving quality of life in human beings.

So belief in indigo children or not, I appreciate that somebody is at least including something undoubtedly sensible and useful in their material.

It is, from my perspective, absolutely true that some people are hypersensitive to any less-than-fine-tuned element of their lifestyle and what they are exposed to in the environment. While others are like my boyfriend - energy and good cheer abounds upon consumption of three double cheeseburgers and a mickey of vodka 4 nights a week. I am near dead if I try half of that on one night lol...
So even if you're not 'indigo' or whatever, it may be worth the effort for some to take into consideration the things that are said for highly sensitive people in various areas of life.
Interesting stuff

I have seen my spirit guide once and she had an alien like appearence. She was a purply red colour with octopus like tentacles coming out of her head, she did not look human in any way. It left me wondering why an alien would be watching over me, would it mean that she is watching over me as I am an alien like her inside? Has anyone else seen their spirit guide and if they have did they look human or alien?

I am totally fascinated with this subject.

I have followed this concept for many years.

I am thrilled to have a thread I can discuss in with others who have the same belief.

Alien does not need to be literal - - but can be of an advanced consciousness.

Ive actually thought this alot, Ive told my mother and I always refer to certian things as this planet like im from another, I always find myself observing humans and watching how ridiculous they really are its pathetic, Humans are just ignorant they kill each other every single day , rob, steal , do drugs I mean what creature is so dumb that it hurts itself and others of its kind? I just feel like this isn't my home I feel like I belong on a more civilized tropical planet with no wars no crime.. will see what happens one day.. I hope I live forever

I was reading m0r1arty's thread and I thought it was just a funny joke, but he seemed to take the joke seriously.

Why mock and try to make other people look foolish?
M0r1arty over and over talks about denying ignorance in that thread.
To deny ignorance is to genuinely try to understand, to leave behind all of your ideas an beliefs for a moment and adopt temporarily and dive into the new ideas and beliefs that seem unreasonable and not simply dismiss a perspective because it is "way out there".

The kind of attitude that mor1arty adopted seemed to be just a way to make himself feel better (more knowledgeable then the people in this thread). I could not even see traces of a true curious explorer and seeker of truth. I do not intend to offend, I'm just being honest about what I feel.

Why can't we all just be more kind to each other?

Mods...
this thread should be moved to the religious forum. the whole thread is about souls / spirits not aliens and ufos. no connection in any of the 30odd pages has been made with / to aliens or ufos what so ever.

The body, the blood is not who people are, it is the soul. So if you are an alien you will have an alien soul reincarnated into a human body. I totally believe in this , I believe in the concept of an alien soul in a human body. I am not my body, I am the soul inside, you could take my body away from me tomorrow and I would loose nothing what so ever of the real essence of me.

I absolutely agree with this. My DNA/blood/body is just a "cage" my soul is trapped in. I look forward to be released!

I'm enjoying reading people's personal stories and explorations, even though I don't know yet what I believe concerning the topic and it's annoying reading "close the thread" "flamers are gonna ruin it!" blah blah, and bickering crap.
I think flame posts should just be deleted without warning so that the topic can be pleasant to look at by those who are genuinely interested by it.
It shouldn't be ruined for everyone else. Cuz a few people don't know how to deal with their discomfort about the topic.

questions...
what is a soul / spirit ?
where does a soul / spirit originate ? who / what makes them ?
what are they made from ? how are they made ?
what can a soul do ? can they fly ? can they travel between planets ?
what has a soul / spirit ? does a snail or a flower or a rock have one ?
what does a soul / spirit have to do with aliens and ufos ?

One day, you 'aliens' will grow up and recognize that you - as any other human - are getting old. Your parents start dying, your siblings start dying, your friends start dying. Then you realize that inside you there is nothing more than a bunch of weird looking organs, just like any other animal on Earth, and that you too will soon die.

Once you accept that reality, it'll hit you: You are only human.

For those that realize that reality early in life, be proud, you are part of the most intelligent species on Earth.

btw, hints that you are human(everyone does this):

1) you look into a mirror and say: "Damn, I'm sexy", but as soon as you spot a cute girl/guy you start crying over the last donut you had. 2) when you are alone in a public place, you reach for your phone even if you don't have anyone to call or text (haha you won't fool me!) 3) you look into the sky and wonder which star possibly hosts other planets with some sort of lifeform. 4) you listen to a kid tell a joke you heard 10 years ago, then you inform the kid that *your* generation came up with it (though chances are that's not true, yeah, your parents probably knew it long before you heard it). 6) you whish you could be billionare, extra-terrestrial, good looking, and/or super intelligent to have an easy life. 7) You didn't notice I skipped 5. 8) You are checking it right now. 9) But if you did notice, then you felt the need to correct this post, worse, if you saw this trick in youtube comments then you feel the urge to tell me how unoriginal I am. 10) you once wondered how could people live without tv/computers/ipods.

and btw, i didn't hit enter between numerals on purpose

Humans ...
