Emeril's Tchoup Chop restaurant in Orlando...

Last weekend, had the best meal of my life there....

I'd highly recommend it to anyone. My wife and I ate there years ago when we were on our honeymoon, (had a different chef then), and it was fantastic, but this time...oh my God.... This would truly be what I'd request for a "last meal"....

We had reservations for Sun. night, and everything was top notch. We loved it so much we ate there the following night also before coming home!

It ain't cheap, but it's not nearly as expensive as you might think either. With an appetizer each, a $20 drink for two (the Tangoroa Volcano...yum), and the most expensive entree' on the menu (each), a side of roasted mushrooms and 25% tip, was around $160. Not bad at all really, considering...

The restaurant is located in the Royal Pacific resort next to Islands of Adventure/Universal Orlando. We usually stay there when going to the parks because:

1. your room key is an all-day express pass
2. we get a lot of perks from staying there often
3. it's close, so if it rains and they close the water taxis, you can just walk to the hotel

Next time you are in Orlando Gazrok I might reccommend a restaraunt called Astral. It is closer to downtown Orlando ( in WinterPark suburb) but definatley worth a taste. Also in Downtown Orlando try Ember. It is a nightclub but with a Michelin rated eatery ( 3 stars if not mistaken). Great place to relax and enjoy the evening.

Thanks for the tip. I go there fairly often (at least about 4-5 times a year), so I'll keep it in mind...
