CRAIGAVON Borough Council is to press ahead with an equality study which may ultimately decide whether the Queen's portrait continues to hang in the Civic Centre.
After an angry debate on Wednesday night, councillors voted 8-4 to follow legal advice and allow the Equality Commission to rule on whether the portrait and other artefacts are conducive to an equal working environment.
