I'm not impressed. What a complete and utter fool. I place his emotional IQ at around 8

I don't see a conspiracy here so should this not be on BTS? Seems more appropriate.

Hmm.. that's a pretty interesting set of codes. That must have been multiple false code 2's they were responding to.. I mean the time I saw 4 of them lining up at a string of lights, racing with lights on to the very last light, turning lights off and coming back up and lining up to do it again. This was at about 1am in front of Taco Bell, and I have 3 other witnesses for this. We really couldn't believe it, hahah.

Kids got balls. Stupid balls. But, balls all the same I suppose.
I sure am glad this guy was there to speed up to this commie bastard to show him that speeding... is wrong. That'll show em.

" "I was in shock that someone was stupid enough to actually do that," said Accomack resident Elizabeth Walraven. " hahahaha this got me haha

but, yeah, bravo to this man! I've wanted to do this so many times. especially when I see cop cars throw on their sirens just to get through a red light, and shut off the siren the second they are through the intersection. pisses me off like no other!

That was so pure and so beautiful to watch. A kid that is easily one in 10 million, a rare breed and a free spirit that clearly feels there’s nothing to lose in life.

Playing with a full deck or not, he’s definitely off the charts and in an elite league, when it comes to guts.

NO FEAR!

i pulled a county deputy over back in 2001.he was behind me on a two lane road and a van coming the opposite way veered into my lane and i had to literally yank it over on the shoulder.meanwhile the van snatched it back, overcorrected and went off the shoulder in his lane .the cops answer was to blow around me and speed off.i trailed in hot pursuit blowing my horn and gesturing wildly for him to, pull over .when he did i hopped out mad as hell and he rolled down his window and asked what my problem was.i told him you just saw that idiot back there almost kill me or you and me both and you didnt even turn around and go after him.he said sir ,in case you havent noticed ,im not in uniform and im not a highway patrolman.and i said ,well if your in a county vehicle you should be on the job,and i bet that guy was drunk as hell ,and if i see on the news about an accident ,ill call every newspaper and tv station around .and furthur more im gonna call the chief deputy (which i did ,and after giving him the tag number and description of the cop he apologized his ass off.but you should have seen the look on that cops face when i jumped out of my truck and started dressing him down

if its a local cop or county sheriff you call the state patrol to report them. they hate when someone calls the troopers on them because the troopers out rank them and can arrest them.

I've seen it happen recently

I find this quote represents the sheer idiocy permeating the topic right now.

So far, I've seen cops described as perverts, emotionally challenged, arrogant, fat-asses, etc.
Ironic coming from an internet community that's facelessly attacking these individuals.

You're rooting for an individual who sounds like he has tourettes 80% of the video [the confrontation is really only the last fifth] - I mean, he must say '#', '#er', 'mother#er' and '#' over one-hundred times.
Oh wait, he does, I counted.

The entire time talking about how some cop is afraid of him. Really, if I had someone going 110 MPH behind me, then stalking me through a neighborhood, particularly as someone who is payed to deal with violent and irrational individuals and who's duty and job it is to protect society from its more deranged inhabitants, that would ring major alarm bells with me. Judging by the kid's speech [Keeping in mind I'm the same age] he's either a wanna-be gangster or they actually live in a low-income dangerous part of town.

All the worse, on that cops mind.

So before you all extol the twenty-something 'G' with tourettes syndrome and something to prove to the authority who probably just booked his meth-addict mother, maybe you can stop foaming at the mouth long enough to consider this situation from all angles.

I mean God, 95% of police topics I see here, the police officers are hated and attacked, despite some small logical minority making points that the officer was justified in what he was doing. Gotta' love the uninformed, blithering masses.

Deny Ignorance.

I'm surprised too that he didn't get arrested. He also says that Sheriffs are the worst cop. Actually, any cop is the worst cop. I can't tell you how many criminals I know In my area that have gotten away with the most heinous crimes. Crimes that they should be put away with but were not charged because the officer didn't show up to court.
thumbs up for the guy in this video.

thumbs down for cops

It's pretty easy to take something out of context when you use part of what someone said, eh?

It's sarcasm. Learn it, Live it, Love it.

What was this kid really thinking?

Sure I`ve seen cops blow by me on the highway without lights and sirens before, and I`ve even tagged along at a distance on occasion, but this kid was out of his mind.

No one hates an abuse of power more then me but unless this kid had some inside information or new this cop somehow he really had no idea where the cop was going or for what reason.

That doesn`t give anyone the right to push a Honda Civic at 100mph on an American highway. Corvette, Infiniti Q45, Ferrari ok, but that Honda could have been his coffin or worse someone else he hit, police cruisers are made for that kind of speed.

Then what the hell was he thinking as he started whaling on the horn? He keeps disturbing the peace blowing his horn after he has obviously has got his attention. He keeps saying how the cop is so scared but at the end of the video the kid shakes like a heroin addict needing a fix as he is now breaking the law by standing in the path of the police cruiser.

Obviously the cop didn`t want this video shown in a courtroom or else he would have slammed this kid in jail for at the very least refusing to get out of an officer`s way.

This video proves nothing except that the videographer is a complete jackass.

I can only praise the guy in the video, if it stops one indecent like the following then it's worth it:

news.bbc.co.uk...

Oh, on a side note I expect the reason he swears so much and rambles is due to stress (nervousness) and adrenaline. It would also explain the shakes he gets near the end of the video...

you are breaking the law too. Your ass should be ticketed just like the rest of us!

thats y its LAW. it doesnt matter if your a meanie or a powertripper enforcing it. You should get tickets. He was right to make the cop feel scared. Cops know they have that power and abuse it. maybe not all, but you can still be sterotypical. flippin cops.

Agreed 100%

This guy is a complete hypocritical moron. He was clearly speeding, breaking the law.

I don't understand how anyone could deem him a hero, he is a moron plain and simple.

This idiot put people's lives in danger, how did he know the police were not responding to a call?

Idiot!

I don't understand how being hypocritical is heroic. His pursuit endangered the lives of innocent people just as much as the deputies lack of respect for the posted speed limit.

The whole situation is bad judgment in my opinion.

what a great idea, shame the implementation was woeful and completely detracted from the serious issue of police abuse of the law. He ended up making himself the Ass.

He was all effing this effing that and when he confronted the cop and the cop said what is your problem with me the twat didn't know how to respond. reminded me of Brad Pitt's stoned guy in True Romance, sucking up to the gangsters until they leave then muttering away to their backs as they left.

Wow i cant believe that so many people are going against the filmer! he just as i, just as all of you here on this website ( to deny ignorance ) are here to try and change things
this guy has the balls to do so
and i applaud him for it! alot of you people would sit and watch and not do a thing rather than come on here and moan about it! this guy is actually doing something about it! be it something like a speeding cop or abuse by a cop! we should all be taking that risk to capture it and make it as right as we possibly can at that time!! i applaud the filmer and i think he is amazing for doing what he did, because most of you tough talking guys out there wouldnt have the balls to do such a thing!!! dont knock it til you try it!! if i could star and flag the filmer i would

Come on people, the roads are designed to do a lot more then the posted speed limit. The speed limits are there for no other reason then a source of revenue. On the major highways everyone speeds and eveyone is driving safely. Every now and again you get the one that zips in and out of traffic but for the most part everyone is driving safe just going as fast as they feel comfortable with. Cops have no reason to pull anyone over for speeding other then to put groceries in their refrigerator.

Good information, thanks for posting.

I have to wonder though, why do police have special rights when it comes to the roads? I was always under the impression that when a cop is moving to get somewhere and are travelling at a higher rate of speed than is legal, they are required to have their lights on.

If they don't do this, it is endangering the public, which is the OPPOSITE of the point of a police force.

I'm willing to wager a guess as to why cops don't put on the sirens sometimes. You wouldn't want to alert the perp you're coming.
