I have been reading news reports and blog statements over the last forty-eight hours, well I have to say this with complete seriousness. The world will try to do nothing. Why? Because no matter what we do, North Korea wins.

North Korea has spent the last fifty years building up their defenses. In order for the world to stop North Korea right this second, nuclear bombs will need to be used. China cannot allow that to happen. Not that China won’t allow, but China cannot! IF NB’s are used on North Korea one of the first victims of radiation will be China, its people and its food supply. So that option cannot be on the table, unless of course North Korea nukes South Korea or Japan. But North Korea does not need to use nukes and they know this.

If anyone attacks North Korea they will be playing right into North Korea’s hands, unless they go in with the complete destruction of North Korea on their mind and nothing else. Because North Korea can lose tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of troops and they will still win. If North Korea started lobbing bombs on South Korea and Japan tomorrow, sadly the world would only respond so far. The North Koreans are dug in deep, with deep underground bases all throughout that country. Sure we could bomb some, but not all. One report I read in circa 1990 said North Korea could have over ten thousand underground bases within fifty miles of South Korea. That doesn’t even seem logical until you look at the typography. A mountainous/hilly countryside that goes on forever. They could lose their nuclear sites, their missile sites, eighty percent of their artillery and still come out of this as the victor. They don’t care how many people they lose, that’s just the way it is when you are dealing with a dictatorship. The world knows this, and the chances that Americans are ready to lose fifty to one hundred thousand soldiers when America’s Left and some on the Right are bitching about under five thousand and that Al Queda has won. It should be obvious to all… to do nothing will be attempted.

For North Korea it’s a win/win situation. Attack and they only need to hold ground and the world will give up. Do nothing and North Korea will continue to push the world towards a fight. North Korea knows they need a fight and that they need to kill several thousand and they will get everything they want. We might be dealing with crazy bastards in North Korea but they are crazy like a fox.

A few years ago I went through all the scenarios to see how this could end. Each scenario ends with North Korea winning. The only two ways North Korea does not win is if China invades, or if America and NATO are willing to lose upwards of two hundred thusand to half a million people and kill millions more fighting a World War Two unconditional surrender scenario, and there is NOTHING in American or NATO’s recent history that even suggest that is a likely scenario. Just as China will do nothing because North Korea is their leverage on the world stage.

North Korea is playing a hell of a game of brinkmanship and in the end they will get everything they want. And they don’t care if they have to kill hundreds of thousands or lose hundreds of thousands in order to achieve that goal. In time, unless the world is willing to fight to the death right now, China will lose control of North Korea and the world will have to bow down to North Korea. They will fight and murder all to achieve their goals, and if you, Personally, and the world collectively, are not willing to die so others may live in peace. We might as well send our elected leaders over to North Korea so they can continue to publicly kiss their asses.

The world will attempt to do nothing, but North Korea will force them to. North Korea is looking for a fight and they will not stop until there is one. Sadly unless the United States is willing to send all of our remaining forces to South Korea and institute an emergency draft immediately. The United States military is going to experience a very humiliating defeat in South Korea, and I would guess most likely this year. North Korea understands this is what must come to pass if they are going to get more. Saber rattling has worked and they know that that pony show has come to an end, now its time to spill blood. They are trying to cause the West to attack. However because we won’t, mark my words… North Korea will become what appears to be... out of control irrational behavior, threatening to attack the South and Rocket attack Japan over the next few days and watch it increase over the next couple of weeks. North Korea will openly move their military towards the south and major rocket batteries to the coast. Hoping that will be the spark they desire. If not they can say they warned the world this would happen just moments before they attack. Regardless of how many die on our side, the west will simply fight to contain North Korea. North Korea knows this, North Korea knows they cannot lose. North Korea knows the World will do nothing, and that is why we will see North Korea become even more outrageous over the coming days, weeks. And there will be war.

How do I know this, because that is exactly what I would do if I was in their shoes. EXACTLY! If you are under the age of forty two and over the age of seventeen. I strongly suggest you start physical exercise. Because I would say the chances that America and NATO will be fighting and dieing in Korea over the next few years is extremely likely. Not because the world wants too, but because North Korea will demand it.

great analysis of the situation. it is true, north korea seems all to confident to be simply winging their way through this military buildup. I dont think they will be alowed to win, but as you said i dont think they will be defeated at home either.

And yet again more possible (probable) casualties. But i know that the reason for this is much more occult than people can imagine. Invisible forces are very active at the moment, to test humanity to the limit. It's hard to explain this in simple terms, but it's all part of human experience on this planet. All the up-coming events are written, and it's gonna get to be a pretty rough ride down here on the planet.

A good point to this is that it's going to pave the way for a better human race, wich radical changes to the way we perceive life. Any major shift in civilization need great shocks, and the issue with North Korea is part of these shocks.

Well obviously I don't completely agree, and here's why.

North Korea doesn't need, nor do they want to hold anymore ground. Oh they will take it over so the world will have to forcibly remove them. But that is a strategy towards their ultimate aim.

During the first Korean War, NATO did not want to get into a World War Three Fight with China and Russia. A limited one that‘s fine, but a full on no holds bar… nah. This time, NATO will only try to remove North Korea and not venture to far North for fear North Korea will in fact launch a nuclear bomb. North Korea has more then one, and now they know their setup works. In time they will only get more better, (I like that phrase more better… I digress), and every government/military on this planet knows this. Sadly getting moms and dads to understand how serious this situation truly is, is next to impossible when its their son and daughters dieing to contain what appears to be a madman.

Oh, North Korea could over play their hand... Yet so far they have done a fantastic job and the world continues to follow along hook, line and sinker...

Here’s the kicker… NATO could win, we just have to decide we don't care what the losses are. If that day comes well then the whole damn world better watch out because that would mean the WEST, or the NWO, has finally had enough and its time to end war once and for all. I think that time might be sooner then any of us might like. Which leads me to the post right below yours.

Thanks for the response btw...

A few years ago I would have written this entire statement of yours off as weirdness nonsense. However, as I look around the world over the last several months, now... I am just about completely convinced you are correct. This is written and this is going to happen. I know from experience we can change the present. However the future is coming... we just have to decide today what road to take.

If we try to continue down the road we have already created I believe the world will suffer greatly. However if we decide that this is it, its now or never… and create a new direction where we understand it’s a complete fight for our very survival... Then we will finally reach a world with peace. Sadly however I think millions will need to die before that resolve finds its way into our collective psyche.

I would not over-dramatize it. North Korean leadership are criminals. North Korean citizens live in awful conditions. Due to famine and extrime hunger North Korean leaders feared that their people could revolt, so they started to trade with West in their nuclear program limitations - since they did not produce anything worthy of international trade. Now it also had downside of getting to close to the West, and since there had to be a scape goat for North Korean economical situation, current leadership (and i do not mean the dead guy that still officially rules over North Korea but living criminals) needs to make things worse with West. After all it is due to evil Capitalists, despite all the efforts of good-natured peace-loving progresive Communists of North Korea.
Do not forget, there are now again alternatives to get food from. So they can blackmail West again for exchange for food and they can try and get it from other forces that are now gaining strength.

If we were to know the extent of the manipulation from these invisible forces, without being prepared in life for such information, we would go either insane or we'd loose our spirit. There are things i can discuss in private with some people, but in a public forum, it's more difficult for i need to respect certain unwritten rules about revealing things that may hurt and/or cause traumas to people who are just not ready to read this information.
I'll just say this: manipulation of humans is omnipresent and the reason is to unleash consciousness at it's fullest and that a new civilization will emerge on this planet. This new race of humans will not be manipulated in any way, shape or form. The biggest problem todays humanity faces is the manipulation of the mind, either from visible or invisible realms.

Peace

If anything I would say I am understating the seriousness of this situation. If North Korea has others as you claim they would not need to do what they have done. They were already receiving billions, but that is not enough for them, criminals or not. Those people have thought long and hard about what they are attempting to do. A war will give them everything they want. Everything! And now that they have a nuclear bomb, they can fight that war on their terms. It won't have to last forever, just a few weeks, months or even years... The years part will completely depend on the West and our reaction/limited resolve. America could lose our entire fighting force in South Korea and the United States may decide to only bomb North Korea so we can appear tough… but in the end, a ground invasion with an occupational force looks to be completely off the table and North Korea knows this.

The bottom line is this... Unless the world is ready to fight them to the death, North Korea wins...

Are you prepared to fight to the death, or send your children to fight in your stead against these petty criminals with over a million man standing army? Hell this war, or a war with China and Russia are the only wars I would even think about joining for. But perhaps that's just me.

I must say, every month i get more convinced that the 'prophecies' in these tabloids I read 15-20 years ago are coming true

There was an particular article that was pretty much 95% accurate, to the year, to the situation.

I wish I had saved it
but back then... well, I just didn't know just how eerily accurate it was. *sighs*

If it's fate or I was reading snippets from the playbook of the Powers-that-be, I wish I knew...

But the main parts are coming true... I can say this with certainty

You have some very good points but I think you are overly pessimistic.
NK does not have so many options.
Waging war is not that easy. You need oil, energy, water, food, lots of. You cannot go to war thinking that it may take years and that it does not matter. It does matter, it is of primary importance.
China alone can cut off NK supplies. NK cannot go too far by itself.
Even if I put myself in the shoes of a very bad and insane man, I can see what I'd gain by starting this war. Even in a dictatorship, they are some realities. Like you dedicate a lot of ressources to enslave your people. And sadly, some still think by themselves and they are unhappy and they want the dictatorship down. And starting a futile war maybe a good reason for those unhappy to unite and fight the dictator.
It is not that easy. I don't regard NK as a monolithic block. The degree of control of the population is unsure. I am almost convinced that NK would resist an attack in their soil as one because of nationalist feeling. I am not so sure about crossing borders and attacking the south cousin.

What I believe is going on, is one that is North Korea is doing a bit of sabre rattling, and just trying to build up its image to its own people. As long as it can show, that the west is the bad guys and they are right, there is no solution here. Part of that is going to be demostrations on military might. I do not think that they would start a war, rather wanting someone else to shoot first, that way they can look and point, saying we told you this would happen. The only way that you can get North Korea to back down, is you will need China to take a firm hand and tell the regieme there to back down, but leave a way out for it to take without making it look bad. Alot of countries, most of them do not want to say we were wrong. Take a look back at the incident between China and the US, where a crew was held by the Chinese government until the US appologised for the incident, and ultimately it came down to one word that had to be agreed on. So this is something that may or may not blow over.
Having read the UN statement and some of the treaties, the last thing that NK would want to do is launch or detonate a nuclear device as an attack, as that would give any country with that capacity involved the right to fire back.
Another solution has to be given. When you have nothing, then there is nothing that you will not do.

I cant see this at all.Unless the people behind the scenes really are nuttier than a squirrels diet.China would be one peed off customer if the USA even thought about trying this, the whole region would destabilize.Say bye bye to Seoul, millions of refugees flooding into China. And a land invasion? We are not talking half a million people we are talking millions dead.If someone farts at the wrong time it could escalate very very rapidly.I cant see this happening at all bunny.Worth a debate and a talk about on a forum,in reality a war with N.Korea just isnt going to happen imo.

I understand your POV, however, I don't think you are allowing for the resent lies that NK has played these last few years. This money for peace deal nonsense is over and NK has to know this. They must know the only way to achieve their internal goals is to cause a war. I thought they would do it last time, however, now that they have a working NB, to me, now it makes sense why they didn't. But this time they will. I would be willing to bet money on the fact we will see North Korea attack their neighbors this year.

As an aside: The webbot prediction 6 talked about America receiving an embarrassing defeat this year. The only place in the entire world that that could happen this year is in South Korea... I usually don't place much stock in webbot, however with this outbreak of H1N1 and their stated prediction a pandemic will kill millions this year and the fate of American servicemen and women coming about this year has my eyebrow way up there. Plus when you look to this region and all the things they are doing right now, they are, in my opinion, spoiling for fight… Just food for thought.

I am not buying the Op, not at all and here is why:

You state that we (the west) are afraid to loose 200thousand people upwards, the NWO wants to off billions!

The more people that die in this potential war, the more money that can be made on the war profits.

US is not afraid of N.K. they can take them out in a single stroke.

Of course the biggest stopper is just how close Seoul is the the border.
The border is pretty much on the outer suburbs of the city.

If the city was just a couple of hundred kilometers further south, you could get a bit more aggressive, but as it is Seoul is a hostage.

I have been pondering what North Korea's response would be to Obama saying "The USA is the biggest meanest MutherFcker on the Planet. If you do ANYTHING aggressive, we'll blow you back to the stoneage".
It seems that playing Good Cop isn't working, so maybe being the Bad Global Cop might have a chance.

But, the nutters in charge of North Korea don't give a damn about their people. Blast away.
And being the petulant children they are, they're likely to do something disastrous to their neighbours anyway. Boom goes Seoul or Tokyo.

How do you negotiate with a Drunk with a Gun?

I question this for this reason, and I admit that it is an assumption on my part, but does NK have a motivated armed force?

I mean I could see a worked up Iran massing tons of troops to fight, but NK?

I kinda feel like they would fold quicker than Iraq did when they invaded Kuwait and the U.S. rolled in.

Not to dismiss the possible damage that they could do if they let loose a few nukes, but I don't see the "grunts" hanging around for a long hard fight.

Oh I think they're pretty thoroughly indoctrinated and Patriotic.
The USA and South Korea have been demonized for their entire lives.
But, I think they'd have the same problem as the Iraqi troops... they look like a large force, but up against a state of the art army they'd have no chance.

The N.Koreans troops are just like any other in the world. They will follow orders and the terrain in N.korea is difficult and they know it inside out.A land invasion would be an absolute bloodbath and you can only do so much damage from aerial bombardment, and the amount of artillery they have just pointing south is stupid.Unlike what many people say the N.korean population are not some mindless drones who worship their leader(although no doubt alot of them are) there is a reason why thousands upon thousands try to flee across the tumen river each year into China and then on to S.Korea.
