Is the intergalactic community simply a network of singularities?

I believe that our salvation lies in the singularity. This will lead to a virtual world -a matrix- created and maintained by the singularity. We can be transferred into this new reality and it is there we will be able to mix into a world of artificial intelligence and alien contact. The more I ponder this the more I believe a planet becomes it's own singularity, with the power to find other planets of it's kind no matter how far. The beings that live within our planet's singularity will be able to freely explore other planet singularities in the universe by virtual means. No more hunger, disease, war, pain.. are the other singularities waiting for us?

Could you explain a little better? I think I understand what you're trying to say... but really I'm not sure if I quite grasp the concept of it.

It's hard to explain. The singularity will have the means to virtualize our planets existence. Once we are in a virtualized state it becomes apparent that this has happened to all intelligent civilisations at their peak. We have simply reached the pinnacle of our existence. We now begin to discover the existence of other virtualized races in the universe. Using unknown technologies our singularity becomes part of their network. We can then move freely between the virtual worlds..

Im thinking we are more of a living tv show within a singularity. Of course we can be backed up if we get good ratings

I dont know why but while reading this concept I started wondering , what if that is what happened ...but well something went wrong we got trapped in a simulation that is not exactly as we wanted it (meaning , wars , disease , hunger , poverty , wars , death ) or maybe the core spirit of our race (wars , greed , wars , killing) could not be changed so easily and we are repeating the simulation until we manage to sort it out (meaning reincarnation , "life after death") .

We are still in contact with the other singularities (as in ET visitation and contact) but not on a full open basis for some reason .

Just some thoughts , to interpret as you want

My personal hypothesis regarding this inevitable culmination of infinite technological progress humanity is approaching is that all successful intelligent species reaching 'singularity' actually gain the ability to leave the 3-Dimensional universe. This would explain why the visible universe is not already teaming with life. They've gone to higher (or simply other) states of being.

The first logical once given the opportunity would be to leave this cold, dark death-trap called 'reality.' Assuming we can actually guess what a super intelligent race would do, it's likely post-singularity societies opt to leave this 'intelligence breeding ground' (called the Cosmos) rather than taking on the mammoth task of colonizing it. It's possibly much simpler (and would require less energy) to slide into a parallel reality.

It's my opinion that life's purpose is to evolve back to a god-like state, not to stagnate in a cooling cosmos where entropy reigns supreme. Intelligence fights entropy by building upon itself and creating new states of connectedness, which is actually opposite to what the rest of the physical universe has been doing for billions of years. This would explain why we're all stuck here wondering where everybody is - they're all far, far away (or possibly only inches away - in another reality), but they're there. We're actually in a cosmic womb right now, waiting to be born.

M-Theory allows many levels of existence. Quantum Theory allows many possible realities/timelines to coexist. Imagine if there was indeed any level of truth in either theory - then imagine choosing to remain within one's dimension of origin. A truly intelligent race would move on, as we will also do sometime this century.

This perspective leads one to believe that there is no intergalactic community, only scattered eggs of intelligence hatching throughout the universe, awaiting transcendence towards new states of being.

Yep I'm also real excited about the singularity possibilities. It is the future, on the proviso that we retain a power capability to keep technology fired up for the next 20 yrs.
The year was projected as being around 2028, that would be the earliest date that it could be a possibility.
Man and machine could become one.
Makes you wonder what we're actually workin for at the moment when our future is clearly on a virtual level ?
