The power of thought, an easy experiment, join in now!

We have all heard of these theories on the law of attraction, how focusing on something can make it happen, that the universe will give it to you. Is it true?

Well I just thought of an easy experiment to test this out, one that will need all of you Ladies and Gentlement to help me with.
Imagine the power of many people combined all focusing on one target, instead of just one person.

The rules of this experiment is simple.

First I need a target, something simple yet unique enough to not appear so much like a coincidence.

The target is: While I'm outside a pretty girl with brown eyes will come up to me and give me a cigar as a gift and then she will give me a smile and a wink and walk away.

Strange indeed right? haha

To achieve this all you have to do is post this target in your own words, while posting try to truly focus on the event of this coming to reality for me.

By posting your intention here, it will help solidify your goal at this being achieved.

The end goal is for me to report back anything I notice or see that will come out of this experiment.

And after some time we can try another experiment maybe with another member.

This will be a good example of team work, just imagine if this would work, how great the uses could be in helping each other, together.

So please, post your comments and views on this subject, but also do not forget to quickly post your intention for this to happen to me, this experiment is all about team work, so I need your help to see if it will work or not.

It's an experiment. It's a "random" event that I had to make up for this experiment.

Yes but sir you don't understand, Why on earth would you want her to walk away, if i'm going to go through alot of trouble getting her to appear, it'd be quite a waste for me and you, to just let her walk away.

Don't worry I got your back, *i'll think of a cheap motel room*

Besides that I don't believe in the whole Rhonda Byrne experience, but hey i'll give it a go, can't hurt anything.

What you try is too much STS, serve the self.
It must be STO, serve the others, too work.

Not wanting to be insulting, but generaly speaking:
when it is "selfish", don't loose your time. . . B-)

It think your missing the point.

It's ironic you say that because my first thought was that maybe I'm wasting my time making this thread, because most people are selfish in a way, and won't want to spare 5 seconds to test this experiment, because it won't benefit themselves.

But I am not serving myself, it's just a test, the whole point of the experiment is to see if WE together can serve others anyway, people come together to help one person. Then people come together to help another, in the end it's like karma, people you have helped will come together and help you.

What may be selfish is people not wanting to do this experiment, because it's something that will not happen to themselves.

But the point is, if it works, then everyone can have a go helping each other.

Where is the selfishness? helping each other?

I don't think this will work.

But come on it only takes 5 seconds to type it out. It's just an experiment..... If I was selfish, Id ask you to give me £1 million, haha.

Haha yeah good point. But it would not be a waste, if I see results then it would mean there is something to this idea.

Even if this does happen OP, and you get a picture or something everyone is going to think you planned it out from the beginning. I don't see how we can prove this over the internet, it would have to be in person in my opinion.

Yeah I thought that too, but if it does work, then all we have to do is do the same thing for one that doesn't believe, and it might work for him/her too.

But yeah I'm starting to feel like I wasted my time.

It's not that simple.

You can't just go outside and sit for a few hours trying to make a woman appear and give you something.

Thoughts are strong influences in our life.

Thinking positive will influence your life in a positive way believe it or not.

But it won't win you the lottery in an instant.

I can't explain it really well.

Research more about it, I'll just give you a quote right now:

I understand. Very good. Here it is. My "Prayer" so to speak for you.

In my mind you are in a bar or a club setting, there is a group of girls together, they are out on a hens party or some group thing, this one girl with something brown is dared to go over and give you the cigar, as it is sort of a falic symbol, they are all joking and laughing. The girl is confident, and walks towards you knowing its all in the name of good fun. She hands you the cigar, with a knowing smile, while holding your gaze, then winks sarcastically and walks back to her friends while they are all laughing.

p.s it would have been good if you gave us a loacation or something personal from you to focus the thought/energy on. I feel like its just fizzling out into space.

thats why its an experiment.

Pick another event, something which is in harmony with contributing to the world in some way or another, and I'll agree to participate and it'll work.

it could still involve a woman and a cigar if you like, just put a helpful spin on it.

Hmm yeah maybe your right, maybe next time, but I was not really aiming for anything until I actually can see if it works or not by starting off with something small. I assume something like healing somebody or going against human nature and hoping for world peace would take a lot more power to manifest, if that is how it works, so baby steps may need to be taken to see how powerful it can be. Maybe it would take a 1000 people just to manifest the event in my OP lol.

And of course maybe the whole idea of this is total crap that would never work.

But I think I'm done with this thread, I've seen the other similar thread with more replies, I'll be checking that out instead I think.

But if I do see something strange I'll report back

Phoenix - your wish is my command.

I'm female, have brown eyes and smoke little vanilla cigars. I always am more to happy to hand them out. Whether or not I'm "pretty" is a matter of subjective opinion.

Please provide photo, round trip plane ticket and set space/time coordinates for our rendezvous and we'll make this experiment a reality!

Ok what is it with all the thought experiment threads recently . This has been like the 3rd or 4th thread around the same subject since 2 days . Was there some movie I missed or is this just synchronism ?

also remember not to overdo the end result of the experiment , and a physical manifestation of a human is a bit overkill unless you have a small army to concentrate on it

Just saying so you wont get discouraged with the outcome and think thoughts do not affect reality Try something smaller first (it will still require a decent amount of people )
