softly, softly crow
go distant hilly voices
memory in vain

warm sky’s eyes slit so
permit her night slow entry
who falls up must fly

why wait on reason?
call your dark from heaven bird
moon voices reply

who she asks, then, who?
trees dance for your mister dear
fully dressed with June

Dark clouds rolling in
thunderous claps against sky
dismal night resumes

This the fight we fight
darkness against the light, pain
Sorrow for our loss

Sadness burns these wings
Can no longer fly again
grounded in the dirt

hello...where are you?
is anybody out there?
time to come home poets

Sad feelings are back
Feeling bad 'bout who I am
I have life trouble

Wish I had a twin
I would let him take over
And I disappear

Better for many
I fake it for a long time
Then the gloom sets in

Hurt people I love
Pain that can't be taken back
Never goes away

so far under goes
our sea, how cold runs under

took my chevy to the levy
