Yeah, Mac, you would have a point if we upped and bombed the French for being, well, themselves. But this is a little different and the only way to not understand that is to ignore alot of other things.
To act as if Hussein is truly islolated is to believe in the tooth fairy. To say he loves the U.S. and wouldn't harm any child or woman is to deny reality as well.
To not understand three of his goals are to destroy Israel, to bring down the U.S. and to be the power in the Middle East is to hap-hazzardly pay attention to world events. Maybe some of us should get out and find lives other than such pursuit of the news, but hey! Not everyone can dance, and if you can't get into the A-clubs, why bother to leave the computer?

There's a lot of comments about the French not thanking the US enough for helping liberate France during WWII, surely the US should be thanking France for the war of independence?
Sadam's three goals where propaganda bull# to try and get other Arab countries on his side for gulf war I. No doubt the irony that they've turned and bitten him in the ass isn't lost on him

Seriously though, I simply do not want another 9/11 to occur, courtesy of Saddam and co., his surrogates, etc, etc, before we realize he's a threat. It's imminent now, imho.

If only the bombs would kill just Sadam and the Republican gaurd. Would you kill your own children to bring "freedom" to the Iraqis? No?...why shold you expect other families children to die for it?

No, i wouldnt kill my own kids to bring freedom to a distant land, but do you think only men died in the Revolutionary war? Also if we go into Iraw our main purpose would be to disarm Saddam, number two would be to liberate the citizans. Also the people who die will die protecting america. And the parents of those kids should be PROUD.

Also i wish there was a way to just take out Saddam and those who suppot him but u know what were living in a real would accidents happen its not liek were targeting women and children Nuff said Quicky out
