are you trying to close out of it or what?

with regards all keys/functions not working properly...

windows on screen keyboard provides a minimum level of functionality, though there are other utilities available which provide higher levels for more impaired individuals

sounds about time for a new keyboard or perhaps one that's had something spilled on it. - dead keys.

and this only started after having used the on screen keyboard?

okay.

try going to control panel --> accessibility options and make sure there are No cheked boxes under any Tab other than General.

Under General you should leave the two under Notification checked.

Apply. Okay Whatever.

Post back if that doesn't resolve this for you./

do you have a common every day qwerty keyboard?

if you messed with the combo' keys, perhaps some sort of function lock, is on?

obvious question, have you unplugged it turned the the PC, off,
plugged it back in?

have you tried another keyboard?
