(ATSMC1) UFO's Are Real (Pronto Mix)

Hi Peeps!

Here's my entry for the ATS Music Contest of 2009. It's called "UFO's Are Real". This is the Pronto Mix - and as the name would suggest, the track is quite short (coming in at just over 1 minute).

Why so short I hear you ask?

The track was written as a backing soundtrack for a 1 minute 2D/3D Animation! Though I have been meaning to flesh out the mix into a 3-5 minute format, I haven't had much spare time of late to do so... plus I'm also concentrating on new sounds and moods. I will eventually get to it. If requested by enough people here at ATS, I will certainly make it my next project as I have some good ideas waiting in store for it.

I love the music! The lyrics are a bit limited, though. [grin] Would love to write lyrics for a song - that is sung so that one can understand them! - that explains things relative to The Terra Papers.


I know of one song that did it but it's more in the death metal genre and the lyrics have to be read to understand! LOL!

i like it , it really has a nice sound to it, you should definitely expand to the 3-5 minute version. i am sure it would be a time consuming project to do that but it seems a worthy task ,imo

maybe one day we might hear it in a UFO documentary ?

LOL! Thanks AE! Lyrics would be interesting. I used a vocoder and pitch shifter for those currently in the track. Minimalism was appropriate for the 'short' though.

Indeed it would! I will have school holidays coming up in roughly 28 days so I wont be teaching classes. This may provide a collaborative opportunity!
