Just incase some people cant understand why this would hurt here is a UK plug:

not one of these plugs:

wich obviously wouldnt hurt, it would just be a mild annoyance.

Sure it hurts...(the plug), but only for a moment...then it ebbs away..

for me, it's toothache pain...nothing really works for it (shy of narcotics), and it is completely unbearable...(and of course, you can't even communicate the problem without a dry erase board, hehe...)

Wow, that does look quite painful, almost like it can tear through the soul of your foot. Glad they don't make them as sturdy here.

On another note, I do recall a painful memory from about 9 years ago. I used to often knock my gums when brushing my teeth and often got ulcers around my mouth. Woke up one morning and had an absolutely MASSIVE ulcer on the left side of my mouth. Wow, I remember the excruciating pain every time I drank, ate or even spoke. I would almost be in tears from the pain when eating; it was like a constant scorpion sting to the side of my mouth that just wouldn't heal.

I would also include getting burned to be up there on the list. I've burnt my hand on the stove once when I was a toddler, I sure never forgot that. I can understand stepping on the plugs though, that could hurt. Kind of like stepping on legos or monopoly pieces. But brings out rage in me than anything. lol

I AGREE! It is definetly painful. Or how about stepping on your childrens toys. Because my sons toys are EVERYWHERE and I step on at least two painful toys a day.'

But if I had to say the worst pains ive felt, I would have to go with Tooth Aches and Urinary Tract Infections.

And I can safely say both were WAY more painful that child birth. For a fact.

God Bless you MR BOB for locating my nemesis and his American cousin...

Seriously, American plugs were meant for one use only.
UK plugs are meant for the same use... but also to kill.

Oh man I definetly believe that 100%. My boyfriend has had constant kidney stones for the past 4 years. This guy does not cry and when he gets these kidney stones, he cries like hell. Its really hard to see. And when hes in the hospital for them, even the strongest pain meds dont take the pain away completely.

I bet you are going to get a bunch of women in here begging to differ....

Child birth anyone?

I am a man but I grew up with my mom who is a nurse in labor and delivery ( she has been a nurse for 25 years on May 10th).

I have heard plenty of stories and seen plenty of things that makes me want to point out that I bet stepping on a plug is nothing compared to child birth.

That said, I have stepped on plugs before and that is not as bad as stepping on a tac/nail barefoot. I have done both! It hurts worse to pull them out!

Childbirth.... Deffinatly childbirth...

my mother gave birth to my brother at over 13 pounds....i think she'd chose the plug anyday.

And yes he is still a brute at 6 ft 4 inclhes.

Okay seeing that the pain from stepping on a plug goes away after a few minutes and childbirth last awhile longer, I probably went too far with that one haha.

But I can definetly say that I would rather go through childbirth than having a toothache anyday. I went into laboring expecting for myself to go through something like getting my leg cut off raw. And it was suprising that it really wasnt that bad at all. Pretty much just felt like hardcore menstrual cramps. I mean it wasnt a walk in the park, but I can think of many thing more painful than childbirth.

Plugs indeed hurt but there are two very unique pains that take the 9 and 10 on my pain scale and they are medical procedures. Ever have a tube shoved up your urethra (9)? or had a chunk of a bone sawed off while still conscious(10)? That latter is really unique because, when heavily sedated for the procedure, you can actually feel the pain signals traveling but your body doesn't respond to it. It's like all you can think is "Wow, that would really hurt if I could feel it". Only the sharpest pain still semi manifests when you're completely numbed.

I guess childbirth is different for all woman. I know a mom who said 'they popped out like it was nothing'... now that I can't imagine.
Not that kidney problems are a pleasure...
I always have pain medication in the house, codeine goes for everything, lol.... and buscopan for the kidney's.

Then again, I can't take much pain, but I'm doing better then my hubby

Thats true it is different for everyone. I guess I cant make a fair judgement because I had a C-Section so I cant fully say it other pains are worse, because im sure if I had to pop it out that it woulda been pretty painful.
