With all due respect, your view of what over shadowing consists of is a bit paranoid. The Masters will never infringe our free will. You really
don't have to worry about that at all. The over-shadowing that takes place is done on individual basis with disciples who voluntarily consent to
it. It is a way of lifiting a person a step or two higher than their normal vibratory level, for a limited amount of time - always to help our
fledging civilization move forward. For example, MLK was overshadowed while he was writing and giving his "I have a dream speech".
Some people beleive that all of the great beings of the past - from Hercules to Krishna - the Gautama Buddha, Jesus, Mohammed - were fictitious
characters created by some devious minds. I happen to believe that they existed and that they're still alive - having evolved to and beyond what we
would call = supermen.
I don't wish to try to change your mind (or to persuade you to believe what I believe) but you are hereby encouraged to try to keep an open mind
about all this. It seems that many good athiests and agnostics of the world, as well as the fools who think that their religion is the only valid
one, and almost everyone else - will soon be confronted with information and experiences that will cause all but the most hardened of them to change
their minds, and to Lighten up. It's just about time for this terribly dysfunctional human family of ours to get real for a change.

"Civil disobedience is not our problem. Our problem is civil obedience.
Our problem is that numbers of people all over the world have obeyed the
dictates of the leaders of their government and have gone to war, and
millions have been killed because of this obedience. . . Our problem
is that people are obedient all over the world in the face of poverty
and starvation and stupidity, and war, and cruelty. Our problem is that
people are obedient while the jails are full of petty thieves, and all
the while the grand thieves are running the country. That's our problem."
Howard Zinn, "Failure to Quit", p. 45
"A world of glaring inequality is never going to be a fully
safe world. For millions of people, the threat of terrorism,
or of weapons of mass destruction, is remote compared to the
daily threat of poverty, hunger, unsafe water, environmental
degradation and disease. We have come to a decisive moment
in history." Kofi Annan
“The developed nations of the world cannot remain secure islands of
prosperity in a seething sea of poverty. The storm is rising against
the privileged minority of the earth, from which there is no shelter
in isolation and armament. The storm will not abate until a just
distribution of the fruits of the earth enables men everywhere to
live in dignity and human decency.” Martin Luther King, Jr
"Without sharing there can be no justice;
without justice there can be no peace;
without peace there can be no future."
Maitreya, the World Teacher
