This Saturday, Benjamin Creme will be holding a seminar here in Tokyo...

I first heard about him quite a few years ago...checked his web site, read his posts and claims.

HIs website does seem rather harmless and harmonious...talking about the goods and wonders that this Matreiya has done so far and how he will show himself again eventually.

Some people, in various posts however, have compared him to the Antichrist....

What makes me wonder is that he doesnt seem to have channeled any messages from `above` for a few years....

Maybe Im missing a lot of info, I dont know...

I dont want to waste my Saturday afternoon (when I have so many other things to do) to go listening to a person who might have a secret evil agenda!!!

Has anyone been to any of his seminars/speeches so far?

Is it really worthwhile going to one of Creme`s meetings?

What are the general opinions surrounding Benjamin Creme??

I'll say up front I do believe Mr. Creme's information and I do not believe Maitreya is the Antichrist. So yes - I do think it might be a very interesting lecture.

The main message of Mr. Creme and Maitreya is that the situation today in the world is unjust with millions starving in a world of plenty. That this situation can be changed if we are willing to take some modest steps to equality - Share and save the world. The root of most wars and hostility is the vast economic separation between the rich and the poor which just continues to get wider even in this present crisis we are in.

This then gets translated by some it seems into the idea of One World Order and Maitreya wanting to be at the head of that leadership. This is not the case and in fact part of the teachings is that each country has its own culture and history and even purpose that should definitely be preserved. Of course he does talk about humanity seeing each other as one and countries working together to solve the worlds problems - but they will still be individual countries and governments and systems, etc.

Also, Maitreya is just here to present ideas and teaching not to be THE leader. He will speak from a very high vantage point (if the story is true) but it will be up to us to decide our opinions and more importantly our actions.

Benjamin Creme still does publish a monthly message directly from one of the groups of beings who work directly with Maitreya.

What I would say is go and make up your own mind - you seem at least a little interested and you can always decide for yourself if the story or Mr. Creme has any merit.

Then instead go to Tokyo Disneyland. Or spend the afternoon in Shinjiku shopping. Or take the train to Kamakura and see the Great Buddah.

But definately don't bother with Benjamine Creme and don't give him any of your money.

He has been pumping this Matreiya thing for decades.
It's a fake. It's a hoax.

He claims Matreiya lives in a Pakistani section of London and that he'll magically reveal himself ... SOON. He's been saying 'SOON" for decades.

Go have fun elsewhere .... dont' bother with Creme.

(BTW .. I lived in Japan for three years. Near Sagami-hara in the Kanagawa prefecture. LOVED the food in Japan.

Wars have always consisted of the poor people fighting for the rich people, not against. Economic seperation doesn't cause wars either, it's peoples greed and desire for other peoples resources that do.

And also, why is it that people are going to here this guy talk if he is not even the person? If this guy who is talking, holding these events isn't even the guy, and the other guy is supposed to have a much higher message for people - then how in the world can this guy be right? If he is right already, then what is the need for the other person's message and so on?

I personally think the entire anti-christ thing on this topic is just a red herring to keep christians from realizing their own religion is the one. As I constantly see claims of it's this or that etc. But that doesn't mean this guy is legit either.

Maitreya is very real indeed. I don't have a religion. I simply follow Christ. Go to Disneyland instead. Its all useless banter from a lost man.

Yes, the poor do get recruited into the Army and fight the battles for the leaders or rich influences. However, the usual dynamic is the leaders use propaganda on the ones who are without in various ways to get them to fight for them. If there was a basic level of standard of living that propaganda would not be enough to push people who are doing just fine into accepting the false premises for these wars. Fear and need would go away and that would go a long way into more reasonable resolution of any real issues.

It is true that many of the teachings and information are already out there and maybe going to a lecture about it is not necessary. However, it is easier for some to get the concise information in a 2-hour lecture as opposed to going through the vast resources to find the core of the message or teachings or in this case an idea and some specifics for a simple and just way forward.

Also Maitreya coming out openly into the public for all to make up their own minds themselves is happening pretty much now (give or take
.

Why is that a smiley face sort of thing? I don't think he'll emerge until after a Third World War or major conflict in the Middle East. Of course it will be in America first.

Well - yes the timing has been a subject of discussion for a long time. I understand the point of view you are coming from but Maitreya has been waiting for it to become obvious that some changes are needed but was always planning to emerge openly just when it was becoming clear to a large portion of humanity but before any major disasters come from it. he does not plan to come to clean up after a complete mess but to give us the ability to actually fix the now obvious issues we face.

His name calculates to 666 seven ways in Hebrew and in more than one language. This guy is the ultimate deception along with his UFOs and Nephilim.

Beware of Maitreya

The above link gets you to good information on Benjamine Creme and his maitreya scam. I suggest that everyone read it ... especially those poor souls who have fallen for Creme's bunk.

As i said to the OP .... go tto Disneyland .... have a great day shopping in Tokyo ... just don't waste your time on Creme's scam.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for the proof that this Maitreya even exists! I've heard people rant on and on about how it's the anti-christ, and a few saying his such a good teacher (or something like that.)

But despite all of it, I've never even seen a piece of evidence that he is in contact with someone called a Maitreya.

He's just a deception. Not the ultimate deception. He is just scamming people. That's all he does, there is no maitreya.

I encourage you to go see Benjamin Creme and make up your own mind about your impression. Remember that concept of an "anti-Christ" is a Christian invention/exclusive. The same people who believe that - also believe that billions of good people of other world religions - are doomed to spend an eternity in "hell" - just because they're in the wrong religion.
I believe that Creme is a great man doing a great work. For some strange reason, some people are quick to tell lies about him, to say that he's a scam artist, that he only wants your money. I've seen Creme three times and he has never asked for any money. In fact, he goes around the world every year giving talks to the public -always for free.
In essence, it seems that Creme says that the human family is very dysfunctional - mostly because a few very secretive people (the ruling elite) have way too much money (hundreds of billions) and most people have too little (and are being screwed by the rich) and that those disparities, plus the corrupt politicians who kiss the butts of the rich, along with the corrupt economic system -- rigged for the rich - screw everything up.
By addressing those problems we can build a much better world with no poverty, no wars, where humanity can finally become a happy and functional family. When we have good political leaders, who really love and care for the people, the whole world can become a wonderful place. Some say "that will never happen", but many said the same pessimistic thing a few hundred years ago - before education became the right of everychild in developed nations, before slaves were set "free", before women could vote and own property, and before airplanes could fly.
For about 30 years, that eternally optimistic man (Creme) has been saying that shortly after the corrupt stock markets collapse that we will see Maitreya. The crash began in 2008 and it is destined to crash even more. We are now very close to finally seeing Maitreya. Besides all that, every major world religion has prophecies that tell of a messiah like figure who will come and rescue humanity, and will help us find our way to the light.
In my mind, it all makes perfect sense. Maitreya is real, and He will teach humanity to live in peace, to recognize that life is sacred, that we're all brothers, and that we can all have a wonderful time, without having anyone go hungry. Creme says He won't come across as a religious figure, and he won't say that any of the major religions are superior to any others (they're all ok, but should never be forced on people, or put in competition with each other) but will inspire humanity to see itself as one family, and to rebuild the world, so that its a great place for everyone. There are lots of Youtube videos with Benjamin Creme speaking online now. To my mind he's very believable, not the fanatic fundamentalist preachers.
Have fun in Tokyo!

Markets didn't crash yet. When you start seeing interest rates above 10%, then you can say the market has crashed. Until then, the bubble is still be inflated, they are just trying to blow harder than the holes that have started to appear that deflates it.

When Creme's space brothers arrive, earthlings will be able to give their minds over to the masters if they wish in order to be "mentally overshadowed" and receive wisdom and training. Do a search on their website, I can't find the direct quote right now but it's on there. Overshadowing is nothing less than mind control, but it will be offered to the masses as a benign and helpful spiritual pathway....it just sounds alarm bells to me.

Have you read THE CHRIST CONSPIRACY or THE JESUS MYSTERIES ? I strongly advise you do if your mind is open to knowledge and pursuit of truth. Jesus Christ did not exsit ....yet Creme bangs on about Jesus being one of the great Masters and directly quotes "him" from fabricated and edited New Testament texts , clearly demonstrating that their whole movement is part of a big deception because Jesus didn't even exist !

(Anyone reading and disagreeing REALLY ought to read those books before opining to the contrary else all you'd be offering at this point is a flimsy personal belief that does not take into consideration the facts so damningly amassed by various independent scholars )

Original Christianity was based on gnosis/ancient mystery religions , using fictionalized characters and their fictionalized lives and activities for use as allegory. Jesus was a composite character drawn from many other, older tales like Mithrais, Osiris, Dionysis etc....any real "ascendant masters" (or ETs as some would call them)would know this but instead they feed into the lie that has been perpetuated by Christian Literalism for two millenia, quoting bible passages that have been proven to be FORGERIES !!

For all the wonderful truths and ideals Creme and co espouse, they are not a movement to trust. Please read my thread which someone linked to a few posts earlier.

With all due respect, your view of what over shadowing consists of is a bit paranoid. The Masters will never infringe our free will. You really don't have to worry about that at all. The over-shadowing that takes place is done on individual basis with disciples who voluntarily consent to it. It is a way of lifiting a person a step or two higher than their normal vibratory level, for a limited amount of time - always to help our fledging civilization move forward. For example, MLK was overshadowed while he was writing and giving his "I have a dream speech".

Some people beleive that all of the great beings of the past - from Hercules to Krishna - the Gautama Buddha, Jesus, Mohammed - were fictitious characters created by some devious minds. I happen to believe that they existed and that they're still alive - having evolved to and beyond what we would call = supermen.

I don't wish to try to change your mind (or to persuade you to believe what I believe) but you are hereby encouraged to try to keep an open mind about all this. It seems that many good athiests and agnostics of the world, as well as the fools who think that their religion is the only valid one, and almost everyone else - will soon be confronted with information and experiences that will cause all but the most hardened of them to change their minds, and to Lighten up. It's just about time for this terribly dysfunctional human family of ours to get real for a change.
take care,

To work darkness, darkness must appear as light.

And their system of reincarnation is just another matrix construct to ensnare souls , for they need soul energy in order to exist. I do not need to return to this planet millions of times to "perfect" what I already am - what we all are - perfect. I do not buy into a spiritual belief system that tells me I am imperfect and must effectively imprison my soul in the material realm until I am deemed "perfected" by some inter dimesional cosmic hierarchy. That belief system is no different to the notion of man being fallen and this feeds into mans vulnerabilities and insecurities , making man ripe for spiritual manipulation. I answer only to myself, not some lord of Karma. I do not buy into hierarchy, whether down here on Earth or out there in the Astral planes. Nor will I revere a group of self appointed "masters" who have inspired the very religions that have divided mankind for millenia. They've had thousands of years to put right the misconceptions humankind have been exposed to, instead they wait til the world is on its knees to "return" and feed into the various religious lies that have had a hand in creating this messed up world. Plenty of us know Jesus didn't even exist, yet Creme and co bang on about Jesus as if he was a real person. They talk about and venerate "the blessed Mary" too, even though she was not even a real person either and was deemed a saint by the corrupt church HUNDREDS of years after the supposed life and death of Jesus !! Creme even says that Jesus's "second coming" (a concept dreamed up by those who forged the New Testament books) was fulfilled by a plane trip Maitreya took some years ago...I mean COME ON.

There is something NOT RIGHT about this movement and these "beings" , not right AT ALL. Can't fault the ideology, but I don't trust the messengers.

The overall material of evidence points towards Jesus having existed, period. Now; The actual question would be "what" he WAS.
Personally, I think "everything" points towards him being a ET-hybrid. Which, he, by the way, was, as his Father was a Cosmical being, either you consider that being to be God or the Spaceman Enlil. Son of Enki, perhaps?

By the way, it reminds me of a poster the other day, that mentioned a UFO-crash several years ago, where the surviving pilots were being interrogated and asked questions and such. The pilots said, that they 2000 years ago created a Hybrid, which they put on Earth. But they did not title that hybrid by name, and I don't have the rest of the story either.

In any case, very interresting.

No, the overall material suggests quite the opposite. You might want to read THE JESUS MYSTERIES and THE CHRIST CONSPIRACY before committing to that view. I used to think Jesus was an ET "envoy" or similar myself but I no longer can after the research I've come across in these, and other books and websites. Both books are a fascinating and illuminating read, do keep your mind open .
