EDIT TO ADD:
I'm sorry -- I did not notice the date on the post to which I was replying (I should have known it was an old thread when I saw Zorgon's post). I
don't expect a reply back from "impaired", but my post below still stands as written.

I understand that he is not point-blanking it, but that's just the thing. Maybe he can't say it directly.
But he indicates that something is definetly up.
He's just treading softly, IMHO.
I applaud the guy. I don't think he's getting senile or something either.
Or maybe he is just a person
without any "inside knowledge" stating his personal opinion on UFOs, just like the many people here on ATS who
state their personal opinion without having inside knowledge.
I have no problem with Dr. Mitchell having a personal opinion on UFOs, but I'm not going to
assume he knows more than he is saying. Right
now, he is just like any other private citizen who believes in alien visitation.

Dude, when he was up on the moon, he had to have seen something. Why else would he be so adamant about saying "We have been visited"?
There are a lot of people who haven't seen aliens who are adamant about their belief in alien visitation. Can't a person who never had "amazing
personal evidence" of aliens actually believe in alien visitation?
What if Dr. Mitchell saw
nothing out of the ordinary on the Moon? Are you implying that he should then NOT be as adamant about -- or maybe be
against -- the idea of alien visitation?
I think he is just a person with two things: a strong personal opinion and a soap box (his celebrity) to stand on.
