SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah Health Department confirmed today that there has now been one death from the swine flu in the Beehive State. The Utah Health Department said a 21-year-old Salt Lake City man died from the H1N1 swine flu at University Hospital on Wednesday morning. The Utah Department of Health and the Salt Lake Valley Health Department will host a press conference, which will broadcast live at 1:30 p.m. on FOX 13 News and will be also streaming live at fox13now.com.
There are now nine total deaths from the swine flu in the U.S.
There have been 61 confirmed H1N1 cases in the Salt Lake valley, so far.
