The background image feature - 0 points?

I remember that the background image feature was 2500 points, but when I went into the ATS store, it's saying 0 points. I've tried uploading several background images, but no luck.

Is it something I'm doing wrong, or is it still 2500 points?

It could be a glitch in the code, happens sometimes. It probably won't be available for you to select until you have that many points.

Are you uploading the photos to your member space first?

That would be the first thing to do, in the Media section.

Your ATS login works for that too.

It was made to 0 points so people could upload their background pictures to the Media Portal and put them back up.

To upload background images, which are now free, you need to go to your account on MATS and in my signature below, you will see fabulous instructions on how to do it!

But why is it free now? Did the staff believe it's better to make it available for everyone?

It came up at the last staff convocation. Got pretty bloody. Threats, recriminations, tears were shed, people quit, real Old Testament stuff. But when it was all over and we had a group hug, we decided the best course of action was to press on and not charge for background images.

That or it's something SkepticOverlord decided to do and none of us noticed.
