A ghostly image has been snapped at a museum prompting speculation that the spirit of the English scientist Edward Jenner could be haunting his former home.

Well, I'm kinda impressed by that...not often you get to see a picture like that in that type of lighted environment.

Could it be who they say it is?
Is it a trick of the light in combination with some other atmospheric anomoly?

What do you think?

You can't see the figure facing the doorway in the left pic? The chair is invisible, but it looks like a guy sitting in a chair facing forward. The bright spot of light is his head, he is wearing light tan shirt (or shirtless) and has blue pants.

I've just noticed there are TWO images of 'ghosts' in that picture...

The first is sat in the back room, as you can all clearly see...

The second is female, elderly, wearing a long dark dress and is stood right in FRONT of the camera..

To see her...look at the man in the chair... now look down towards the floor and you'll see a mist spreading downa across the floor boards..

Go ack to the man in chair, now look above him towards the darkened roof space..

See the womans face there ????

I'll blow the image up so you can see it ... Meanwile. I'll post this.

Nobody else has seen that as far as I am aware

how they expect us to see wtf is that in a image with that poor size and quality ... we need something larger than that

That mist isn't a 2nd ghost. The "ghost" sitting in the chair is actually another human but from the 4th dimension, they had previously or are about to move towards the cameraman, hence the mist which is what would be time (4D) but the camera picked it up and humans can't.

Cameras simply capture ordinary visible light. Just like our own eyes. Regular cameras cannot even see infrared or ultraviolet light.

So, why would a camera pick up something our ordinary eyes would not?

If anything, our regular ordinary eyes should be able to see things that cannot be captured on film, since we are a spirit-body nexus. Due to our spiritual nature, I would expect there to be episodes of crossover perception bubbling up to our waking consciousness. But not with mechanical, soulless cameras that simply capture ordinary light from the ordinary visible spectrum.

I would say this is merely a photographic anomaly or Photoshop.

Good find, nice pic.

I noticed what appears to be the lady in a dress in front of the doorway first, and didn't even notice the man in the chair until someone else mentioned it.

It looks authentic, I don't notice anything that shouts that the picture is a fake, but I'm no photo expert, either.

Waa... that's either the best photoshop job i've seen or its a "ghost".

Could there be a reasonable explanation besides photoshop?

The OP seemed to have left an important piece of information out of the post and that is the fact of WHO took the photo....

This photo was taken by an official cameraman for the BBC news agency as can be seen here...

What really strikes me as odd -- i think this ghost is decapitated to be honest. If you look at my edits to show what I mean, the neck around the head is the same colour as the chest on the full body.

I see 3 different things.

[color=lightgreen]-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

a)1 person sitting between the beds, and another laying on the bed looking at you. the person sitting on his hand on their back - sick family member?

[color=lightgreen]-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

b)1 person sitting between the beds, with his head in his own hand

[color=lightgreen]-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

c)1 person sitting between the beds in a regal position with the person on their right sitting on a chair beside them but leaning forward, leaning on their own knees.

[color=lightgreen]-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

original

a)

b)

c)

Ive been hovering over this thread since it was created and it makes me laugh because -- when there is something legitimate to debate or atleast talk about.
minimal replies.
I think its because it doesnt have the title "I TOOK THIS PICTURE AFTER A POLTERGEIST KING CALLED ME SALLY, I THINK IT HAD AN NWO ARM PATCH!!!"

-just something ive noticed.

Creepy image! I remember seeing this in the news. I'm not too sure what to make out of this image though. The ghost seems really disjointed and not attached. Like... fragments if that makes sense.

Yeah, it happens.. Especially to me
You find something that's pretty darned good and you're lucky to get a few hits on it...

But it's the contribution really.. if people don't read it now, then they'll have it here for many years to come.. always good to have something to refer to.

That's the problem with ghosts..they never do quite seem to show up completely as we hope they would.. it's like only bits of them can come through..

But why is it that only bits do and why do some do repeat performances time and time again, yet others are barely able to make a'bump' in the night.
How long after death does it take to become a ghost?
With the history of the world, we should be bumping into them on every street corner...

Those were soldiers quarters for a time. I think they are soldiers, not sure if there was a war during that time period but possibly.

Makes sense especially if they were piled up in the attic, a normal family probably would not be putting beds full of people in the attic.
