ok.. so are we close to approaching the level of technology where we can clearly take high res close up images of the moon? Say a large telescope at an observatory coupled with a 50mpixel camera. Then we could see for ourselves what is really up there.

I just joined and am in contact with Mr. Escamilla. He is making the film available for $2.00 pay per view once he irons out some code issues. I have to admit I was skeptical until I purchased the DVD which is well worth it's price in Gold. You people need to see this and he is making it available so cheap, no one can complain he is making money on this. In fact the cost will barely cover the broadband charges, so just know this is way too great a bargain. Just letting you all know what is coming with this film. It is a jaw dropping film! I have to reply to you on this one. For him being called a scammer, what you people are suggesting is to "steal" his work and make it available for free! So who are the real scammers and thieves here? Just so you know, he is making it available for $ 2.00 pay per view. If you can't afford that and would rather steal this man's work, then you are the scammers and thieves. I am a staunch supporter of Mr. Escamilla's filmmaking and after getting to know him this past six months, many of you who accuse him here on ATS are "dead wrong" in your judgements about him. It's easy to attack someone without any facts to back up your judgments and this tells me you are acting as character racists. That is, attacking him for "no reason" what-so-ever. Bring your proof as to why he is a scammer, or a thief and let's see where the truth really lies. I can bet not one of you has the proof about what this man is being accused of.

I have been reading ATS for quite a few years and only this time decided to come to his defense. Especially after seeing the film and getting to know him. It carries a lot of impact and information that needs to be seen by everyone. If any film were to ever bring NASA to their knees, this is THE ONE! Jimmy2theR

I bought the Moon Rising DVD but there were two others. Which is the best movie?

Information this important should not have to get sold, it should just be given to the people. If you really were for the people, like you should be then I would just hook them up, and if they wanted a copy, I would hook sell it then, but peddling this is stupid man even to make a little dough, well its pretty low.

I've never seen it before. I thought it was really convincing. It's basically a half assed semi-blurred nasa moon image where you can see machine parts sticking out. It resides on the outskrits of a crater and is supposedly 10x the size of Los Angeles. I dont want to capture and post pics due to copyright reasons but has anyone else seen this movie (awesome btw)? Great pic that makes you think.

www.youtube.com...

I totally flipped when I saw this thing at the crater! The humanoid-looking thing bending down would have to be at least three miles tall!

Mr. Escamilla spent $120,000.00 to make Moon Rising. He is trying to get in into mainstream theaters and that will cost him 15,000 in advertising per theater, plus about 2800.00 per 35mm print, and an additional 1200.00 per theater rental. He has investors he needs to pay back for the initial production, so why would you think he should give it away for free? Why in the world would you make such a ludicrous statement? This man is delivering perhaps the only real facts about NASA's role in hiding things from you and you feel it needs to be given away? He has told me on many occasions that he would rather make the film available for free on You Tube and Google, but who is going to pay back his investors? Are you willing to pitch in? I seriously doubt it.

Moon Rising is the best. His other one Moon Views is nothing short of a 54 minute music video. It has his aribrushed Apollo photos with music tracks underlying the photos. Nice work but I prefer Moon Rising above it all.

Jimmy,
2theR?

($2 the Revenue)?

... comes to mind, for me.

"filmmaking" is right... with emphasis on the "making" part.

Thanks, anyway.

why?
What have the 'people ' done to deserve to know?

Newspapers, Television all get paid to bring you the news, even ATS makes a good living bringing you the information you get 'free' Since when is 'making a little dough' to recover your hard work and time a crime in the USA?

I find it pathetic how many people here openly talk of piracy, yet have the audacity to call Jose names...

The same people who are calling im names, are also clamouring to get a free copy to few. If you despise the man so much, why do you want to see his work?

Besides that... all the images I saw in the trailer we have already presented here FOR FREE at ATS... all that is required is a little search... We presented the color Clementine data here in DEC 2006...

But now all of a sudden its new?
But it takes a lot of time and MONEY to make it into a movie presentation... something Jose does well.

And get off the "he makes money" wagon. Every other author and film maker on the Planet does that. Would you go to Spielberg and demand he works for free? Get over it

Mr. Escamilla has made Part One available for Free on You Tube and other web sites in an effort to get one million votes so he can make Moon Rising and all his films current and future for Free. He needs these votes to justify it to his investors and to get sponsors for his online broadband channel. Go there and vote. www.youtube.com... Jimmy2theR

Indeed!
I have been having a bit of a tit for tat with this conman on
youtube,he just comes across as someone who is desperate
for a bit of easy cash if you ask me!
"I spent $100,000 of my own money blah blah blah"
He`s at it if I`m being honest, and anyone who parts with
their cash to watch all this re-hashed footage is a mug!

Curtis Hedges who does marketing will be approaching ATS about them carrying the film. It all depends on what the owners say. They banned Mr. Escamilla for two altercations he had with the same person behind the scenes. I know what really went down and one of the owners didn't tell the truth, knowing it was the same person, using two different names, making remarks that he felt was an insult to his mother and family. Mr. Escamilla is known to have anger management problems, but seems to have mellowed out. So if his being banned by ATS means you people here won't get the film when it is available for free, then I think it is a disservice to all members. Time will tell. Jimmy2theR

Wow. What a waste of time.

3 miles tall humanoids working on something 10x the size of los angeles?

Really?

He makes that huge leap from a blurred part of a pic?

I mean really?

Surely anyone whishing to own a copy has the right to decide where they would spend their money?

Last I checked we are living in the USA, a CAPITALIST country, where making a buck is a God granted FREEDOM... (save for the evil tax collectors cut. Thought we got rid of them at the Tea Party
)

What I don't get is why those against this are so upset about the money issue. Its not like the non believers care what the content is anyway, so are unlikely to view it even if free.

So why make a stink? Got nothing better to do than stir the honey pot?

I just wanted to share this link.

www.vimeo.com...

It looks like Mr. Escamillas account on vimeo. There seems to be some of the movie there.

Just about to have a look.

Add----
It's just a promotion video.

All this arguing over whether this film should be shown for free is abit lame really. Since the film relies totally on NASA photography and since those NASA photo's were paid for by American tax dollars surely, at least the American people deserve to see this movie for free, if only to see what their money was spent on?
As far as I know, and I think someone else mentioned it earlier, there's nothing in this movie which can't be seen on youtube videos for free!
