This whole thing just stinks like when one kid gets caught stealing, and wants to pass part of the blame off on the other kid "because he was there".

I think a more appropriate scenario would be if someone told you that they were going to commit pre meditated murder and you didn't think it was such a bad idea at the time yet now you are wondering why people are saying you are an accomplice.

What a load of malarky. Seriously.

Instead on focusing who ordered these tortures instead you care to focus on a Senator who was in the extreme minority at the time and could ZERO about it because it was classified.

Wow.

Do you have any idea how ridiculous you sound. Not to mention that many Democrats like myself could give a rats who was involved as long as they get tried and thrown into prison for war crimes. Whether its Democrats or Republicans those who were involved need to be brought to justice.

The only problem Republicans have a hard time understanding is they WERE IN COMPLETE CONTROL AT THE TIME.

Obama not releasing these photos is a spit in the face to Change. He may be right that it would put our troops in harms way, but guess what they already are in harms way.

The secrets have to stop.

Ok, how about this in plain english: If Nancy Pelosi would have never been briefed about the use of waterboarding these photos would be released as soon as possible by the Obama administration.

No doubt about it, IMHO, the timing speaks.

Pelosi knew, Obama drops subject,

Coinicidence? I doubt it.

It's nice to see this sentiment expressed, but of course we now know that is likely to never happen.

The only problem Democrats have a hard time understanding is that they ALLOWED Republicans through a process of abrogation to be in complete control at the time.

Incidentally, the same thing is happening again. Different horses, same race.

thse photos have nothing to do, with the anti-American establishment created amongst Muslims.
Its the actions of the soldiers IN THE PHOTOS, that are causing people to hate, and want to retaliate against the US military.

Now, these photos are public domain, therefore they should be released for a FOIA request.

Obama needs to release these photos, at the same time ensuring the same abuse or mistreatment of detainee's never occurs again.

What 'would' happen in a just world, is these photos would be released, and then the solid case against the detainee's for all the horrible deaths they caused would be publically made known.

that way, people look at them, and go

'' what a monster for killing all those people, send him to the chair! ''
