Dude, I read some more of your threads. You are comedy gold. You are even better than HuckFinn. I hope they dont ban you. I look forward to reading more of your posts in the future. The way you hold character throughout is unbelievable. You are my new Super Hero!

I've written a program with C++ that delivers information through the wire in certain patterns and protocols based on some very meticulous algorithms that I wrote, which the ideas came from my dream.

I tried the exact same thing last week on a hunch but my blackout lasted for 8 hours and I only learned 75% of the words to the song. My hard drive was fine but my sound card and video card needed to be replaced. You must have stronger brain circuitry, but need better PC components. What brand motherboard did you use?

Ha! i love it! Although it may sound crazy to some of you.....and it's certainly not a great idea to perform such a procedure on yourself at home.... this is not exactly unheard of. Drilling holes in the skull and stimulating the brain, I'm sure many of you have seen similar things on the learning channel. This just has a bit of a different twist. This kid is a pioneer! Star for you!

I would have gone for USB 2.0 imo

Instead of ethernet....

I think there should be better censorship on this forum 'cos if I can't talk about the delights of smoking cannabis you shouldn't be able to discuss self mutilation. Drilling holes in heads? OMG

How did you do that, is there a Black&Decker attachment for that?

Can we see a picture of your iskull?

Funnily enough , that question was put to Black & Decker .

Crank Magazine / Guide to Trapanation/ Black &Decker response..

Apparently.......

" the right tool for the job is not a drill at all but the BD6200 Plunge Router . Its powerful 1 1/4 hp motor spins at 25,000 RPM, enough speed and power to get the job done very quickly. And the precise base allows for accurate maximum depth setting "

===============================================

Hilarious stuff , that is until you realise somebody will attempt this .......
Here at ATS , you just don`t know who it is you are communicating with , or what their state of mind .

Personally speaking , i prefer to bleed my demons out, i normally do it around the same time as i change the oil in my car ...... least i forget .

I too would like to see a photo , perhaps with something to verify that it is you ( logician magician), not some photo off the web.... we`ll be waiting a while i`d hazard to guess.

Of course he's joking, no need to go running to the overlords.

That pesky cable may cause infection; any ideas how to interface a coaxial cable to your cerebral cortex?

I wish I had read further down this thread before I drilled my head.

Everything was going fine connected to my PC until I blue screened.

Infection?

Anyone know where I can find some disinfectant!!

This thread made my day.

I got the idea partly from science fiction, but it was also described to me in a dream I had, in which an ALIEN communicated with me how to do it. It's the typical "hook a machine to your brain" to learn, or at least, experience things faster.

What I've done so far is used the process of trepanation do create a small hole in my skull, into which I attached a wire, hooked to my ethernet port up to a specific area of my brain, on the top 1/3 of the skull.

I've written a program with C++ that delivers information through the wire in certain patterns and protocols based on some very meticulous algorithms that I wrote, which the ideas came from my dream.

So far, I've only performed one test. I attempted to download music data (sound), and i blacked out for what I believe was about 7 hours. When I woke up, I was in an odd state in which I could not remember hardly anything. It was a somewhat drug like experience, as if all the association with objects and ideas were robbed from me.

I started to slowly recover, and came to realize that I knew every single word to the song that I tried to incorporate into my memory. Not only this, but upon inspecting my computer, every capacitor on the motherboard was blown, and all data on the hard drive seems to be irrecoverably destroyed.

I believe that I am on the verge of something remarkable here, but it is a very, very... VERY primitive version of what this technology could be.

Unfortunately, after blacking out, and having the disassociation experience, I am NOT willing to test this out any further.

I also am not going to respond to this thread... and probably not even read it. There are a multitude of reasons why I will no longer pay attention to this thread, or to my project.

I am merely sharing my story to anyone who might be interested in this... technology.

You drilled a hole in your skull? Congrats, you must be the only person i know of who has done that. You know, usually people communicate telepathically with aliens and channel pictures, thoughts, emotions, but first time i hear of people drilling holes in their skull and sticking wires inside and communicating with extraterrestrial life, another logical fantasy among many .... only this one accompanied with extreme measures ... lol

Yeah I had that happen to me too, I once had a dream about that hot borg chick from Voyager aswell. She won't asimilate with you dude, no matter how hard you try. Your better of dreaming about Rosanne Barr and sticking your hand in a toaster, thats what I found, anyway.

No prob, we'll probably get an update in News Of the World. "Man Drills Hole in Cranium to down load Porn only to be told he's already #$%&ed in the head."

Ahh, good old HuckFinn. That was gold that thread. Pure Gold. This is like silver.

The head drill is a cool innovation though.
I'll give him that. Atleast he'll have a hole for his lose screw now.

Gives a whole new meaning to the term " plug and play ". This is too funny.

I might just give this a try. If it doesn't work then at least I would an extra area to carry my pencil or tin foil antennae.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Give me a f-ing break. You drilled a hole into your own head?

Of course you won't reply to the thread anymore, you're so full of SH&%
you can't come up with any decent responses to prove your ramblings.

Post a pic doctor.

Jeeeeesssssuuuusssss.

You seriously drilled a HOLE INTO YOUR SKULL and

ATTACHED ELECTRICAL WIRES TO YOUR BRAIN?

Wow..........I am speechless, I think maybe you should get some psychiatric help man, for real.

Trepanation is still performed. It is a viable way to improve cognition, according to those who actually practice it.

To me, this guy is either "Darwin Award" material, or should be a writer for "SNL".

Wait, wait...

Did you use the "hammer" setting or the "drill" on the B&D? And the Ethernet cable, it has more than one wire, did you use TX+ or TX- or what?

Damn, this is all so confusing...

I think we need a wiring diagram or some other schematic circuit.

You know I've been thinking about this and I realized that you could communicate with these aliens without drilling a hole in your head.

Here's a schematic:

Also, we're still waiting for a picture pretty please, if only to confirm that you're still around.

Yea but you can't seriously agree with him drilling a hole in his head (if true) and attaching wires to his brain can you?

...perhaps next time you jack in to the Matrix through your high-speed e-port, see if you can download a Dictionary and look up the word 'Discussion'...as in Discussion Forum...which this happens to be...
