To the human eye maybe. But digital images have limited color values. Add some noise or blur and you won't see a difference in those colors on a image taken with low exposure times.
Your "obvious" comes from not knowing enough to analyse the images.

This guys all about makeing money, by whatever means possible. He's not a true investigator looking for the the truth, wherever it may lead him. He makes sure his investigating leads him to a foregone conclusion beforehand.

I couldn't have said it better! Just look at the whole John Walson fiasco, and the lies and deception there. Anyone who hasn't seen the JW videos, they are accessible at: www.rense.com...

I used to observe the moon through a telescope back home, and I had seen on occasions a small black object moving on the surface. BUT this....I'm sorry, I just don't buy it - my 2 cents.

The question here is "Did anyone watched this movie?". We can talk about trailer, pics or authors credibility but I watn to see comments from someone that actualy watched this movie. Greatest story.... was OK for me but it have some technical problems with sound (music is too loud in some places and you cant hear what people are talking about).

Nice Idea, however have you even studied what this would entail! The logistics, know-how, funding, etc etc is mind boggling. Just a spacewalk is an accomplishment - and China's has been severely criticized as being a possible fake done underwater!

Hi, i'm new here. I can't start my own thread according to ATS rules, so have posted here. I started this blog ----> moonconspiracy-ftc-theorists.blogspot.com... check it out.

NASA, ESA, JAXA, ISRO, RKA/RSA and CNSA have all carried out successful unmanned missions to space and some to the moon. The Japanese JAXA/Selene project is the largest lunar mission since the Apollo program, more about it here.

However, most of the images and videos from the Selene mission released by JAXA so far sucks, a real disappointment, its fuzzy digital junk, especially when compared to razor sharp Hasselblad (analog) images. If this is what science can accomplish in the 21th century it sure leaves a lot for speculation.

Im just hearing about this website "The Crit" for the second or third time.. why is it that they are so un-trusted? has there been many proven hoaxes associated with their content? are they affiliate with WWN ? sorry to get off topic but I just think its important because I want only info from good sources.
that being said can someone give me a good credible list of noted trustworthy sources?
Thanks and sorry to go somewhat off topic just thought now would be a good time

Ummm is it just me or did those 'silver disc' objects look like moon craters that had somehow been manipulated with a glowing rings in them?

I know thats not a good description, but thats what they look like.

Good video , there is something on the moon. There must be my friends.

Phage is a fairly good skeptic. Services such as he provides are very valuable for debate.

Zorgon, it is very good to see you. Been awhile.

If we really landed on the moon don't you think they would have the Hubble Telescope pointed at it every Fourth of July showing us the flag. Or for that matter don't you think they would have done it at least one time in the last 40 years? The moon landing is pure Bullsh*t.

This documentary is a quality film, great camera work and lighting. I was getting a little tired (a little?) of all the underpar documentaries with just news clips mashed together so this is great to see. The movie "New World Order" had the same budget of sorts so i watched that one two.

Wasn't much a fan of the Obama Deception or Truth Rising, Zeitgeist to was a little thin but something like this is RIGHT up my alley.

its great to read all your posts and see the wonder in me out there.

I agree with you here. As soon as information like this is presented he seems to jump all over it. I noticed this a few times and am starting to think the same.

But..... what ?

You seem like you have more to say. You should share with us what you really feel then instead of just saying but what...

I thought that was a pretty straight-forward dramatization. As soon as I noticed the disks were moving (which I did the very first time I saw the trailer since it's quite obvious), it struck me as a dramatization to show what the picture would be like if it were a video, maybe. I really don't think they're trying to fool anyone with the moving objects and just because they CAN edit the picture maliciously, which no one should even doubt in today's world, doesn't mean they did.

To me, the dramatization was obvious and accordingly enough was only during a few seconds of the film, having all the discs moving, which would make sense within the scheme that was quite obvious to me.

Peace, love and light.

Look at it this way. The crosshairs are behind the lens, very close to the film. They cast a shadow on the film, they are not an "image". Since there is essentially no light coming from the black sky (or not enough to expose the film), the crosshairs cast no shadow on those portions of the film either. In this case, "black" is not a color, it is an absence of light. Again, where ever there is a small amount of light you will see the crosshairs against the sky.

Thank you for your expert opinion Sara. Informative and convincing and shows your excellent understanding of the issue and of how the Hubble works......

On more general thread note, I downloaded a sample of of the high resolution Apollo photos and I could not find any evidence of a 'false' horizon on any of them and in all of them a little fiddling with the brightness and contrast makes the stars stand out just fine.

As for the 'disks', bunk as well. As BigFatFurryTexan (name gives me a chuckle) pointed out the Clementine data is indeed false color and these guys have manipulated it to their own ends. The 'disks' are nothing more than relatively recent impact craters and the 'light' they are shining is just the ejecta.

yes but still, black is not just one colour, the hasselblad camera crosshair black is not the exactly same black as the dark deep space black above the moon surface, a perfect match would be impossible. So there is always some sort of slight difference and then you should be able to see the crosshairs when colours are inverted, do i explain (european english, sorry) myself good enough ?

To me its quite obvious that NASA did edit those images before public release and the movie shows just that.

I understand your point and i agree with you 100%.

Funny, having studied physics and math most of my life, I am somewhat at a loss here as to why no one has ever considered the probabilities.

Distance, time, gravity, the Van-Allen belts, electromagnetism, solar wind, temperature variances and so on.

The Tetris project has never been mentioned either that I have seen. Although there have been satellites sent to the moon and have orbited the moon to take the photos of the earth and the surface of the moon, the odds of sending a very heavy craft such as the lunar module and all the attendant gear would weigh a lot. If the moon has allegedly 1/6th the gravity, you had better be dead nuts on in your calculations or the crew will fly off into limbo forever.

Now how many of you, going back to 1969, would be willing to take that chance? Just take a gander at the press conference with Neil Armstrong and crew afterward. Do they look or act excited, this was a first in history, walking on the moon and returning to earth safely. The looks on their faces and their reactions are quite shocking to say the least.

Do the math. It will shock you as to the variables. The odds were not in their favor in 1969.
