I'll try one more time.

This time, just use your own eyes...look at the phases of the Moon. Pay particular attention to what we call the "New Moon".

Please recall, we are in agreement, are we not, that one hemisphere of the Moon is always facing the Earth? OK....then, when it is a 'New Moon' the side facing us is in darkness. The 'farside' is in brilliant sunlight.

When we see the 'phases' of the Moon we are seeing its "day/night" cycle...remember, its 'day' is about 2 earth weeks long.

Your answer about the Apollo 17 Ascent Module lift-off was correct...the guy at Mission Control practiced a lot, since he failed during the Apollo 16 attempt to track the LM at lift-off.

But, ermmm....your attempt to claim that a laser reflector could be 'parachuted' to the Moon's surface fails for two reasons: One, a parachute won't work without an atmosphere (duh!) and, Two, simply dropping the reflector won't ensure its proper alignment with the Earth!!

It is simply far more convoluted for the 'Moon Landing Hoax' believers to attempt to wriggle and twist everything when the truth of the Apollo missions is staring them in the face!!!

BTW, your use of the term "astro-nots" is highly insulting. That sort of juvenile behaviour is best left to the teenagers at the 'utubes'.....

When they bounce lasers off the reflectors they supposedly placed on the moon (personally, i think they parachuted drones onto the lunar surface from a low pass orbit, as they didn't land on the moon), the signal takes 2.56secs there and back.

But seriously, it all seems so contrived and far too amazing in both technical instant ability and timescale. As people know, the shuttle gets decommissioned next year but even with planning for this they don't think the replacement vehicle will be ready for at least 2015 and the US will have to rely on the Russian space team to take us up and down.

So in the same sort of time scale with vastly increased technology Nasa can't even get the new aires orion combo ready just to do inner space flights, yet in those days we apparently under time constraints and budget cuts created a whole space team and calculated every detail using computers that would make a 4yr old laugh with numerous known failures and unproven data but they did it first time without a hitch.

It makes me laugh to be honest, these days Nasa cancels flights because of weather, small cracks on tiles, the fear of space debris etc etc which I totally respect because LIFE MATTERS but then they sent guys to the moon thru radiation belts in a craft that was almost paper thin that could have taken serious damage on a slightly misjudged landing.

They even to this day lose unmanned craft to mars but yet the Moon landing went superbly....?????????????????

the logics don't add up...

"light pollution" as such assume most certainly an atmosphere cause of it's dispersive effect

the light pollution theory also concerns the crosshairs...

if there was light pollution those non visible crosshairs on the black moon sky would most certainly be somewhat visible

furthermore one should know the physics of a human retina to conclude some ill logic in NASA explanations:

looking at the Moon horizon one would have "light pollution" effect of the upper retinal part of the eye...
however the lower retinal part could only register the light source such as stars and eventually Earth in the moon's sky (the effect just like the Moon in the Earth's sky....

as far as I remember from the provided link,Textthose astronauts claim they didn't see any stars whatsoever....
they most obviously must be not telling the thurth...


or there is some ubiquitus explanation that one cannot see any stars in space whatsoever due to lack of athmospheric physics
(that would assume stars are ONLY visible from Earths surface would it not)


could anyone provide some evidence that those astronauts on shuttle missions and space stations didn't see any stars whatsoever up there?

On the Anniversary today May 25, 1961, the day President Kennedy calls for a mission to send man to the moon, he is making Moon Rising available on You Tube for seven days for all to see. He is taking down his PPV and wants as many people to see this film. Look for it on his You Tube Channel, on his moon rising web site and other web sites he is having upload his film sometime today. It's being uploaded in HD. I think this is Great news! A serious decision on his part with his film. He felt compelled this morning to do this and it will be online soon! Jimmy2theR

The most likely reason for not seeing the stars if you think about it is the fact the surface of the Moon is lit by bright sunlight your pupils close down due to the bright light so fainter stars would not be visible unless they looked at a dark area of sky without the glare of sunlight.
Think about when you go through a long dark tunnel in a train then when you come out into the light it takes a second or to for your eyes to adjust.

idiot here!!. last night i tried to purchase this film along with moon views. i paid the agreed amount and waited for my email. got my email signed in and can not download the movies.

sent an email but have yet to hear a response.

if this is true and he is showing this on youtube, then i want my money back!!

maybe a stupid question, but when does the movie come out, actually?
