I haven't found one person yet who has received theirs [or wants to]...... apart from Royal mail gleefully photographed holding onto wads of leaflets, they seem to have them! lol

OK so where are they?

I've had mine, nothing in there that common sence wouldn't have told you to do anyways.

Seen the PDF online ... It's like the "Mind the gap" announcement on the tube... Makes me want to just go ahead and slip right in that gap and poke my tongue out!!

Nope haven't had anything.

Supposed to be here end of last week or start of this week.
Not that I'm bothered.

I've not had mine but given the Royal Mail's attitude toward delivery in my area, I might get it during the next big medical scare.

Apparently, there's someone living only a couple of miles from me with this 'swine flu'. I'm thinking of buying a pot of red paint and painting some red crosses on my neighbour's doors tonight whilst they're asleep.

I got mine yesterday.

Found a pile in my blocks corridor on the floor.

Pretty silly advice to be quite honest, nothing more than common sense.

I'm not sure it warrants spending £7 million on though.

Quite possibly some very expensive spin to say, 'Hey man we're in control of the situation, trust your government, we know whats best'

It does strengthen my opinion that they think we are completely stupid

The only mail I seem to be getting at the moment is of the sort encouraging me to grass on my neighbours for anything and everything!

Tactics obviously learnt from the Gestapo and KGB!

Next they'll be sending us spy cameras and notepads to keep a record of any suspicious activity in our area.

The UK is bedcoming a police state more and more by the day. Im not from around here but Ive been living here for a year now and boy Can I tell you, the officials here are pissed scared, and the people in general do not give two hootenannies.

Nope not got mine yet (Plymouth)...

Mind you how do we know the dude shoving them through the letter boxes doesn't have the plague? I suggest reading with surgical gloves / mask - holding the leaflet with tongues at arms length and after digesting 7 million pounds worth of tripe immediately ignite with a flame (of course after getting a health and safty risk assessment from your resident common sence spouting numpty health and safety exec).

Peace and regards from yet another moron who needs saving from himself and the big bad scary world

Not had one where I live. Just read through it online, all pretty basic stuff and not a single mention of what to do if it looks like it will get worse, ie getting in some extra food supplies etc. The majority I'm sure have ZERO idea of how a country could get disrupted in the event of a full on pandemic - power outages, food shortages, etc and the goverments don't look set to mention this at all.

no no... get the postie to drop it down the path [a mega phone would be useful for this] then ask him to step in and out of the litter tray filled with Jeyes fluid "also kills bird flu" then leave the leaflet outside for a day...

Hmm this is the UK though so it will probably rain and your leaflet will be nothing but paper mache... oh no wait... use the paper mache to seal up the letter box!

Perhaps we shouldn't joke... three South Gloucestershire councillors are in trouble for trying to make light of what is a morbid subject...

Having been a police officer I have to say that 'without' black humour I wouldn't have been able to stand some of the scenes I have seen...

The UK goes balistic when it's a bank holiday... can you imagine the shelves at Absos or T£sco if they started advising us to get supplies...

The clever ones are already stocking up on long life products...

Still no leaflet....

They should have given them to our local takeaway ... they seem to manage to delivery at least 3 menus a week ... Some postie at Essex Royal Mail is sitting in his lounge surrounded by leaflets chuckling to himself.

I got mine last night. Whilst I was flicking through it, I wondered as to why it took so long for me to get mine. I mused on the irony that it might have been because the postie was 'unwell' and happily spreading his foul germs onto every swine flu leaflet he had delivered as well as passing it onto his co-workers, who in turn, passed it on through their swine flu leaflets.

I haven't got one yet, I'm wondering if my mother in law has one at her house yet, she lives in the next county. She's in the US at the moment on holiday and she's a total hypochondriac so if she comes home to a leaflet she will be panic stricken for weeks, convinced she's dying of swine flu.

Not received one at home but we got one at work, strange really!

I'm still waiting for the booklet they promised us a few years ago telling us what to do in event of a terrorists attack. I still don't know how many tins of baked beans I need to survive a bomb blast in London .......

(I do know that if I get a 'flu leaflet it'll go straight in the recycling bin without me bothering to read what I and 99.9% of the UK population have known for decades)
