Everyone who owns a website has an interest in defending the free use of Internet... so has everyone who uses Google or Skype... everyone who expresses their opinions freely, does research of any kind, whether for personal health problems or academic study ... everyone who shops online...who dates online...socialises online... listens to music...watches video...

Millions of Europeans now depend on the Internet, directly or indirectly, for their livelihood. Taking it away, chopping it up, ‘restricting it', ‘limiting it' and placing conditions on our use of it, will have a direct impact

Aw, # you Rothschild. Damn imperialist bastards, with this and Senate bill 773 & 778, we can now finally see they are hitting the Internet. Apparently, as Rockefeller said, it's too dangerous, and apparently some polls said people believe him and are afraid of their own computers now...because why would the man who has profited on every war and criminal act LIE?

Damn bunch of sheep, we're finally losing the last ounce of free speech, and because of these paranoid #s who think they're own kids are terrorists, we have to play this game. Funny thing is, you STILL have to pay the internet prices, you'll need it to maintain that slave job, but you can NEVER do what you want on there AGAIN.

They say it's to stop piracy of music and movies...yet they can do that now BUT REFUSE to do so because 'IT'S TOO HARD!'. So, punish everyone like a kindergarten class. I guess that means you can never make your own music videos again for fun, enterainment or art purposes again.

I don't know how true this news is but I have already stated somewhere in ATS that the mass should try to build/have/control their very own internet/ISP.



It's not impossible but you got to push very hard for it. It's a matter how bad do you really want it.

Here in Sweden this is "old" news, we have been building "citynets" all over the country. I live in such area and i had to pay a sum of money to get the fiber into my house, so now i can choose from several ISP, i get ip phone and tv also. I also pay a small bill (10 usd) to have acces to the fiber but i am the one that choose the best and cheapest ISP. 100mb/s down 20mb/s up for 30 usd or so..no restriccions on DL ;-) The more products in the citynet the cheaper for the consumer.. obviously.

Does anyone else notice that they're pushing this major destruction of the internet on May 5 th, right during this very questionable flu that has everyone panicked and distracted? We are that big a threat to their global conspiracy. We must be waking up and the internet is countering their NLP and MC too much. This is a good thing, and tells us we have to continue because I guess we have the power to change things.

But first, this has to be stopped and we're going to have to ensure a free and wide open internet for everyone!

This is such an important thread, I would give it 5 stars and flags if I could. I hope people pull away from the flu threads and pay attention. This cannot be allowed to happen!

Exactly Miss Chilliwack! Alex Jones has been right all along (what else is new?). Censorship has already started in Australia too. Since you're a Canadian, would you mind if I direct you to a site where we have been making our voices heard loud and clear that we want no censorship, not one iota, here in Canada? Hopefully you'll make your voice heard there as I did. If J. D. Rockefeller gets his way, sites like Infowars.com and abovesecret.com will eventually cease to exist. And if we get our way, J. D. Rockefeller will cease to exist.

I dont think the people will let this happen. How can u just do away with the internet? Thats a loss of alot of jobs. A lot of data gone. Last time i knew, youtube shared 303 Terabytes of info (303,000 gigabytes). Which is 3 times more then the CIA has. Too much work was put into the internet.

They won't just 'do away' with the internet, they'll take control of it and turn the whole shootin' match into another NWO controlled media outlet. Oh great! ... another Fox but 1000 times as outreaching. No... we must not let anybody control the internet.... ever. It's our only way with talking with eachother. With controls, I wouldn't even have been able to read the post you just made, and you wouldn't be able to read what I'm saying here. Can you imagine that? Well try real hard to imagine it... and you'll probably barf in outrage like I did.

They're too distracted. They're not even going to notice its going down, and thats what this is all about, never mind a few other things it serves along the way. How are they going to fight what they aren't noticing!

While we're at it, I'm asking every Canadian who reads this thread to get involved by making your voice heard. Make no bones about it. Let 'em know that even the slightest bit of censorship, even the tiniest bit is absolutely not going to be tolerated. The powers who want to control the internet will use the excuse that it's to protect our children from porn. Don't fall for that lame reasoning. Besides, if we were to agree to that... Pandora's box will have been opened and the censorship will only increase on a geometric scale after that.

Good news people! Now your rights. Do you have an existing contract for services with your ISP? Does your monhtly price come with a contactual obligation to provide you uncensored, unlimited access to the Internet?

If it does, and believe me mine does, my Internet Service Provider can not legally arbitrarilly change the terms of my contract without my expressed signed or implied consent.

Courts the world over function to do one thing...enforce contracts. Countries and Principalities the world over are contractually gauranteed their existence...it's why Germany didn't become part France and part Soviet Union and cease to exist after World War II.

It's why Costa Rica doesn't have to worry that it has no army.

It's why tiny principalities like Lichtenstein and Monaco and Seaborga exist and still are ruled by Princes even though the Empries, and Emperors who granted them that right are no longer around...it's in the contract.

Contracts have to be honored, courts are bound to honor them, and not even J. Rockefeller or Baron Von David De I am really just lowly white trash Rothschild can do anything about that.

Know your legal contractual rights, demand they be honored, the Governments don't actually rule us, the Courts rule us, and all nations and people no matter how dispirate with hardly nary an exception are bound together in a universal contractual law that ensures the system of commerce for the high and mighty Rockefellers and Rothschilds and lowly Smiths and Jones alike.

Don't let them stiff you or trick you...read your contracts.

Who is going to fight for Internet when they have to fight pending starvation?

The goal of present "crisis" is to reduce wealth of the people to the very minimum and beyond. Focusing on "survival" will kill not just Internet, but almost everything else.

The bloody battle has already started and it's for real. It will reach everyone very soon. Forget about progress and communication. Globalization only means suppression of masses on the global scale, but nothing good for the peasants.

In ten years or so your kids will question you: Back in the good old times, you could access EVERY site in the internet??

You will answer: Yes, it was wonderful. Everybody could write and post and upload everything and every man or woman would have access to every bit of information.

Your kid's answer: But that's IMPOSSIBLE!

So sad. We don't know how much freedom we currently have. But very soon we will learn, i suppose

I've just mentioned it in the Swine Flu thread as it occured to me also that the flu issue is a massive distraction. I imagine the vast majority (myself included) have been wrapped up in that all week and not really scouting other news, I am only myself beginning to look around the other boards as of yesterday to see what else is going on in the world. Jeez, this is really bad news, I wonder if it will actually pass ???

So, thousands and thousands of websites will have no visitors? Including business sites, all will go out of business? Hard to imagine...

I knew it had to come. If my website can be viewed by ANYONE in the world, that cannot be good for the bankers and corporations. They need total control, like on TV. They need brainwashed people. They cannot allow free flow of information. When internet was new, with not that many users, it was a different story, but now it has become a mass media...no more freedom. It is a logical path.

There is always hope. Freedom will survive somewhere.

This has to be completely stopped. And they need to be slammed on their backsides very quickly and learn not to mess with the people. Also, we should get ingenious and find ways to bounce it off the satelites and use wireless routers, not fiber optics so its inexpensive, and doesn't preclude the poor people. The alternatives still leave out much of the world, and the internet which is fast becoming inclusive of many must continue to unite us forever!!!

Do you have any other sources for the news? Because lets be honest, that website isn't exactly neutral.

The truely sad and disgusting part is that I can imagine them raising the level of the pandemic to a 6 and restricting internet to control "panic". I'm a contributing editor for a UK site (even thoughI 'm in the states) but in the end it probably doesn't matter where you live on the planet.

The true hackers and techs on ATS need to let all the rest of us know the work-arounds to the software inhibitors, and blocks that they'll put up.
