Joshua P. Warren has a report on a creature supposedly trapped in Mexico. Of course, being in Mexico our most respected ufologist, Jaime Maussan um sorry but
if you look up gullible in the dictionary his picture is there baby, is involved. I can't decide if the creature looks real or not. I look at it and pick out things that look real. Other times it looks plastic/fake to me.

What do you all think of Joshua P Warren?

What do you think of the picture?

I'm not getting involved in this one from here, at least I'm going to try not to.

Chupacabra, alien, crytobiologic, mutated Mexican hariless um, Hoax?

Hmm hard to say with just a picture. Apparently its being tested by Dr. Jose Antonio Lorente at the University of Granada and the results will be released in a press conference when completed. Doing a little searching I find he is in fact a real person, at that university and a specialist in dna testing etc.

On the other hand, he does not mention the names of the scientist from the university that first examined it. And the 3D imaginary guy who they took it to Dr. Jesus Higuera at the Mexican institute of nutrition well, I cannot confirm works there, or is even real or not. But this was just a quick Google search.

Someone should call Jose Lorente and see if he has this creature and is testing it.. if he is testing something then who knows? Too bad I no habla espanol

An off topic post within seconds, this should be interesting. Is it possible for a moderator to U2U what was posted? I am really curious.

For Jaime to assert that this is not a hoax, his already shaky credulity is serously on the line here.

To be clear about Mr. Maussan, I believe he has an honest an intense interest in the paranormal and related. I actually like the guy, I just am very skeptical when he gets involved because he has fallen for some really silly stuff.

Jamie Maussan doesn't have the credibility of a Jim Marrs (
) but I guess we can give him a chance.

When I first looked at the pic, I thought " this looks like a human-reptile interbreeding product" , but reason and logic made me think otherwise.

PLEASE DON'T MAKE THIS A REPTILIAN THREAD...PLEASE...

Oh, man!

It looks like someone skinned either a dog or a cat and posed it near that trap. That's nasty. If it really is what I think it might be, the animal rights people are going to go nuts.

If it was WHY?? would you kill it. That's stupid!

This would be an amazing find if it were real.
But logic tells me no, I imagine if something like this was caught and it was as resilient as this man says it is that it would probably chew its own arm off to get away or find another way.

But who knows!
Could be the real deal, something like this has to surface one day as maybe a new species being found or something a little more exotic.

But one thing that popped right into my head when I saw the photo is it looked a lot like these sculptures, for the love of god I can not remember the name of the artist but here is a photo of one of her "hairless rat" sculptures.
The skin texture is very similar.

Ok I found her name.
Patricia Piccinini

here's some of her amazing work (im not posting these to say the creature in OPs post is fake, just trying to show that it is possible to make a very realistic looking piece of work)

I'm really intiriuged about this, and hope it goes somewhere and I wish I wish I wish this actually turned out to be real.
One thing that bothers me, like in a lot of these stories is the "we didnt know what it was so we killed it!" OR "we thought it was evil so we killed it"..why must people do this, in all honesty if I found some un known creature or beast or alien, I'd more then likely let the little guy go because I'd know what A life of terror and pain it would live at the hands of humans.
I probably wouldn't even be able to kill it if it were attacking me, but that's probably just me I don't think i'd be actually able to drain the life from something or murder it, I'd never be the same again.

But anyways! thanks for posting this! it's an interesting little find.

Because someone can make a model that looks similar, does not mean that is what it is, that excuse is always being thrown in.

I can make a pretty convincing UFO looking model, in fact I have for my son many moons ago to hang from his ceiling with his other flying machines, that doesn't mean every time someone witnesses something similar that it's all fake, that's just daft, of course there are similar art works.

I'm not saying this is true, I do know I have met Jaime, and from what I saw, couldn't meet a nicer bloke, and I didn't come to that conclusion with a 2 second conversation, sure he has been taken by some, haven't we all? there is always someone on here trying to pull the wool over our eyes,

I don't think anyone could be stupid enough to take an existing creature and skin it, hoping to pass it off to World renowned Scientists thinking they could fool them, that again is just daft.

What I do know is there are many who have an impression of people that is unfounded and based on other peoples opinions, there are those who will just dislike him because he is good at what he does, and it is a fact and anyone with any knowledge of the so called UFO community has to agree, he wouldn't be allowed anywhere near these conferences if he didn't have credibility, that is an undeniable fact.

A lot of people right here get up my nose as I do them, doesn't mean I don't respect their opinions, they just lose credibility when they make assumptions based on nothing more than a first impression, or follow others around like lost puppies, like we see way to often, you only have to see one of them get excited waiting for such and such, ( I cant wait to see **** take on this) as an example.

Jaime Maussan is always a huge attraction at these conferences, would that be true if he didn't have the respect of many?

As for the Creature, we all can do the same, I will e-mail one or two of those in the Article, to discover if there is indeed a creature, if I get a reply I will post them here, still wont prove what it is however, that's Jaime's choice and responsibility.

Reminds me of the 'Aliens' from the movie Sigourney Weaver movie series.

Which also makes me think it is a model of some sort. At first glace it felt artificial.

Could it be real? Yes. Do I think it is likely? No.

I agree, and about what you said...one word...beauty. I really think if we are going to get full disclosure we will have to let go of the hunter gatherer mentality and adopt more tolerance in our lives. This coming from someone who would still kill a deer to survive; but if that thing is real, especially if it intelligent then it shouldn't have been killed.

There's enough in the article to encourage plausibility, however there's not enough to believe. The critter could be real, but it doesn't look right in it's stance. The tail doesn't look prehensile, it looks like a rigid prop providing support. Notice how it's bent at 90degrees? Although not qualified to make anatomical claims, the body reminds me of a squirrel.

The background story prompts one or two questions. Why has it taken 2 years for the story to surface? Why mention a 'mysterious death?' Why just one image? If there is a body with reliable test results, why emphasize the lack of incentive to hoax? Eye-witness credibility is moot. An unknown body (with results) should be evidence enough to stand alone.

Not to write it off as another hoax, I guess we'll wait and see what the 'International Press Conference' will add to the account.

How would something move around with nearly zero muscle mass? Does it float through the air or what? Very bad monkey.

This looks like a hairless monkey of some sort. But what I find suspicios is the fact that the 'creature' is reaching up through the jaws of the trap. How and why would anything do that? When armed, a trap of that kind has the jaws opened and essentially against the ground. You spring the trap by touching a trigger in the center. Usually by stepping into it. Doesn't look in the least bit believable.

Ha, lol. Cool photo but still complete and utter bunk. Logic, reason and common sense dispel this one easily. You can actually tell this is bunk without even viewing the photo itself. Just the circumstances around the story and the lack of legitimate, verifiable action on something that, if true, would be a SLAM DUNK to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt in these modern times. I could elaborate, but hopefully you get the point.

I'm a good friend of Warren's, have known him for a long time and worked with him on several projects, and while I can't vouch for the screaming demon, I can tell you that the LEMUR group has from time to time caught some great stuff.

If a creature that small was caught in a trap such as the one shown, it would of been sliced into pieces. The photograph looks posed, so I would guess it is a hoax.
