I've been on this site for a while now and I have just recently realized something. Now this is pretty broad as far as questions go, but I had to get it off my chest. Has any theory/prediction that has come from ATS ever come true? A few years ago, the bird flu came out and a bunch of people were freaking out. Unfortunately I wasn't on ATS for that, but I am sure most of you were and I was wondering if it had the same reaction on here that the swine flu has? I keep reading all these posts about how the H1N1/swine flu is the "beginning of the end" for the world and that after it is all said and done a "New World Order" will emerge. I even heard Alex Jones on Coast to Coast AM the other night preaching the same thing. But it seems like every time that something chaotic happens in society, it is blamed on the NWO.

I understand this forum is to speculate and to ask, "what if?", and maybe it is true. That the NWO is really doing all the horrible things we see around us. But as for the "theories/prediction" side of the coin; has anything really come true? Another example would be y2k. I remember being in high school when people were going crazy over y2k. Buying gallons of water, food, lanterns, etc. Then January 1st, 2000 came and went, and here we are looking at the next big thing that could happen to us.

Thank you.

I think many will tell you that we are in the middle of a prediction right now..

That is a good question, but I really don't know.

What I do know is that people panic and that is definitely not a good thing.

Let's hope that this flu is not going to signal the end of the world either. But we don't know and can't change whatever will happen, so why panic?

It is great that this site is so informative, but the downside is that people panic, and that is a negative state and will accomplish nothing.

So nothing that has happened already? Just a general, "the end is near" prediction?

Even if it's not out in the open the NWO is always taking steps forward, it's been that way for years and years and years. everything that happens is for another reason, it's all smoke and mirrors mate, there are no such things as coincidences anymore, it's all a choreographed plan.

this false flag swine flu could in fact be the one that sets up FEMA quarantine camps all over the place, it could not... it could be for a whole other reason we wont know about until it's too late

I believe there have been predictions of more and more freedoms being taken away.
ecenomic predictions as well as the one world goverment and one world currency, the ever closer prediction of martial law being imposed and an up and coming increase in numbers in the ME.
People predicted Obama would give more of the same and that more disinfo would come out.

So I would say the answer to the question is Yes on some and No on a lot.

Well....the BIRD FLU, as I remember, was hyped on the Media...CNN, FOX, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC....et al...in much the same way that the curent "scare" is being promoted.

Please remember an old axiom of TV 'news'...."If it Bleeds, it Leads!"

Actually, I was harsh. It is an age-old axiom of journalistic one-upmanship!! Perhaps William Randolph Hearst is the 'father' of what later became to be known as 'yellow journalism.

When it comes to sensationalism, the more incredible, the better!!! Just look at the SuperMarket tabloids, as you wait to check out with your groceries!!!

I know some folks predicted Obama winning... but that was sort of a fifty fifty.
Some people also predicted McCain winning.
One thing i've noticed, is that we tend to get major predictions about once a month or so.

There was talk off the economic collapse a year or several months before it actually happened.
I searched for threads on it and was shocked to see people already knew it was coming. I also looked at the date on the ATS thread. This was a couple of months ago so i cant remember the date.

what economic collapse?

beware of swine flu.
go home, be safe, don't think of billions spent by goverments
buy some tamiflu or other crap pills

there's no economic collapse
move along, xou're probably infected

go back to pigs and leave money to goverment to protect you from flu

Bill Cooper predicted the 911 attacks with eerie similarity, just months before.

I am sure if you ask Alex jones, he would also feel that he has had some true predictions.
