a friend of mine suggested two days ago that this flue is some kind of racial selection since it only seems to target Latino's. Even the one death in the us is of Mexican origin.

No, it`s not picking on Mexicans. It`s just that the "outbreak" occured in the vicinity of the largest pork operation in the world, Smithfield Foods. They operate out of Mexico, after being fined 12.3 million dollars for violations of the Clean Water Act in the U.S.A.

The media is not telling us everything. I live along the red river north of Dallas Texas, I know of at least four confirmed cases in my small town alone. (I work for the local hospital) The news has not said a word about it.

An emergency medicine physician in New Braunfels caused a stir Thursday when he wrote a widely distributed e-mail that said there were many more cases of the illness than the government was letting on and that the virus was much more lethal, too.

I do not care what any of them have to say at this point! I say just wait & make sure you and yours are taking measures to avoid infection. What can we really do other then that, you know??

I am just curious to see what happens around the world concerning this flu in the next 72 - 96 hours. It is obvious that confirmed cases are unreported by the gov. So, we will see.

The fact that anyone on ATS would believe anything Deagle has to say amazes me. The man is a fraud, hoaxter, murderer and had has liscence revoked for NUMEROUS counts of malpractice.

I do not know about anyone else but malpractice is usually one of those quaalities I try to avoid in a doctor, especially one who lies as often as this nutjob Deagle does.

How can you so positively say no. Not disagreeing at all with what you say, but have there been any confirmed deaths of any other race... If some entity was trying to pull a fast one, wouldnt you want the fear and attention on something else.. (pandemics, CDC level alerts, front page headlines) so that it all didnt seem targeted. Im just saying we shouldnt over look anything that might be obvious. Also this seems to be no more deadlier than our normals flus that cruise by year after year. The death toll on those are higher than this so far. Seems that all the people that have had it, are pulling through it ok. It just seems a little odd. Just a little food for thought, that is all.
