zexatron - Explain away Saddam using WMDs on the Kurds in the past and UN inspectors saying they know he had WMDs in the past.

So....if Saddam got rid of those PROVEN WMDs, then why is he playing games with UN inspectors now with weapons pointed at his head??? It would only be logical for an innocent person to prove they are innocent instead of spying on the inspectors and playing a game of hide/seek.

An innocent person doesn't act like Saddam, but of course you want to blame the US for the Iraqi problems out of jealousy for your inferiority complex.

It is Bush that has an inferiority complex because he must resort to war to feel safer. He wants the first strike.

When you have a look at Iraq, they are hardly conspicuos compared to the arsenal of weapons that the US has.

This confrontation is looking more like David and Goliath match, or cat and mouse.

First of all it is not about weapons of mass destruction. This is the excuse. This is what the populous are told.

It is about oil, it is about US expansion in the middle east.

Don't get me wrong I am not in favour of S.H. but why hasn't his country got the right to defend themselves if attacked.

Then according to US thinking you should disarm the rest of the world and the US should have all the weapons for themselves.

The US has always been a trigger happy country. If you look at your roots, there were the cowboys that used guns. The majority of people in the US feel insecure, thus inferior and need a gun to protect themselves.

Most conflicts are always resolved by eliminating who you don't like.

My solution is political, need more time to allow the so called weapons inspectors to do their work and it should a United Nations (the the US is part of) resolution to decide the faith of Iraq.

US hasn't always been 'trigger happy.' The US was pretty much isolationist until the last what 50-60 years? As far as letting the weapons inspectors getting a chance to do their thing..You might believe they are actually being allowed to do their job but I'm convinced they aren't being allowed to really inspect. Blix today: 'the inspectors are being led around by their noses'

" United Nations (the the US is part of) resolution to decide the faith of Iraq. "

YYYeah...who is arguing with that? The US wants the freakin UN to enforce it's own sanctions that are being violated. The mamby pamby inspection stuff obviously hasn't worked.

"you want to blame the US for the Iraqi problems out of jealousy for your inferiority complex"

arguments that suggest people are against US foreign policy because thy are jealous of the US are funny.

arguments that suggest people are jealous but use tortological sentences are simply a riot.

I think that it's just a lot easier for the Administration to make a war, or pathetic justification for one, than it is to fix the real problems at hand....i.e. the ECONOMY, as well as many others. My god man, I'm am sick to death of all of this, why not fix the real problems?! Why isnt the president, who's primary responsibility is to watch out for his people, watching out for them? It's only just a diversion because they have no idea how to kick the economy in the A$$. Who knows, I could be wrong (it's been known to happen from time to time
) just my two cents

What's the good of having a great economy if you are leaving yourself vulnerable to enemies? It wasn't very long ago that enemies attacked and killed 3,000 American civilians in our nation's largest city. I think we need to do everything possible to fight back. I can't fathom why some people think that Saddam Hussein wouldn't use his resources to help terrorists, put differences aside, to fight a common enemy, the US.

zaxatron - You're hopeless and clueless. Take your stereotypes about Americans and shove them up your butt.

By the way, when Lupe agrees with you...that should be a serious sign of your stupidity.
