so lets get this out of the way.
1st. the masks these mass sheep are wearing will do NOTHING to prevent anyfreakingthing.
WHY? you may ask..u should ask how but whatever

simple, the masks that they are wearing are teh kind of masks that the DENTIST wears SO THAT HIS SPIT does NOT fall into YOUR OPEN MOUTH. lol. it is so freaking simple its laughable.

the kind you pay 10dollars and get 50 of.
the real kind
those cost about 5 dollars EACH.

u see my good friends. the illuminati (who are focused, responsible, and thank god they exist) want to PROVE again and again that the masses will CHOOSE to be irresponsible and foolish, behave in herd like behavior, and NOT USE their BRAINS.
this only PROVES why they are where they are and the masses are nothing more than BEGGING to stay alive instead of taking responsibility and hunting or finding shelter. (the masses depend on and have asked for the wellfare state)

so in conclusion...
...it will get SO FREAKING WORSE that its going to reduce a chunk of the population. this is necessary.

but go ahead and draw cute things on the masks that only PROVE how the masses are LAZY, GREEDY, and DELUSIONAL

Moran? What's a moran?

Anyway, those masks aren't supposed to stop everything. They are just suppose to help a little, because every little bit helps.

DUDE!

Just because Erin Moran LOVES Chachi doesn't mean she needs to wear a mask!

Seriously!

Masks are for putting on you when YOU are the sick one.

Most viruses that are transmitted are not sitting by themselves. They are in some medium that is quite large enough to be kept out by a mask.

One potential benefit of a healthy person wearing a mask in an environment of potential infection is that it serves to remind us not to touch our mouth/nose. Also serves to remind others that they ARE in a potentially infectuous environment, and perhaps that will cause them to be more responsible for their own health ------- washing hands, decontaminating surfaces, washing produce well, etc.

I agree that the standard dust mask does little to prevent aerolosized particles from being inhaled, however it falls under the category of "better than nothing."

I am a firm believer that too much cleanliness and attention to germs weakens your own immune system. The human immune system needs to be exercised to stay healthy, and what better way to work out than by inhaling a few million strange bacterium!

Sneeze in my face and then excuse yourself for being rude? HA! I LAUGH at your puny and pathetic pathogens! My immune system is strong like bull!

Sure, every once and a while there is the minor inconvenience of a 103 degree fever, chills, vomiting, and so forth. But remember: that which does not kill you makes you stronger.

So stop washing like an OCD freak, ditch the Dr. Frankenstein mask, and lay off the antibiotics. Eat right, get plenty of exercise, sleep 8 hours a night, and suck up those pesky germs. And laugh in their faces.

They might not do much but it draw a lot fewer strange looks than walking around wearing a MSA ADV 1000 with the awesome tinted mask insert, makes you look downright evil unless you are also wearing something absurd like a huge pink rabbit outfit.

They'll help a bit and like Helig said it is a dam sight easier than wearing a full-scale proper one.

Margaret Cho's mother called her Moran, and would scream that name when she was young. MORAN!!!

The cheap masks shown do not work. One would need a professional mask to keep out germs.

I just plan on getting vaccinated and will take my chances. Life is too short to worry about everything.

Spot on with the face masks. A complete waste of time. They are just a placebo to make the sheepy sheep think they're protected.

I personally am goin to take my chances----no vaccine either.
If I catch it hopefully I'll recover, if not I won't be posting on here anymore .
I refuse to live my life in fear.
Whatever happens peace and love to everyone x

A couple of things that people should know about wearing the common inexpensive face mask that is most often seen.

First they should fit as snugly to the face as possible; other wise you are just trapping the organisms right under your nose and mouth.

Second is that once they get wet they decrease in effectiveness and moisture from breathing will make them wet in a short amount of time.

They are made to be used only briefly.

Hospitals use a different kind of mask and even the professionals have to be fitted and instructed in the proper use of the mask.

So in some case none "is" better then some.

Still -

It's like we're being invaded by baby blue ninjas.

That, in itself, it cool enough to warrant getting one.

(don't forget your shirkens.)

One quick point... When calling people a moron always check to make sure you have spelled it correctly.... Otherwise it is YOU who appears to be the moron.

Your mis spelling is rather... ironic, is it not?

That said, the masks probably do better than nothing although I have talked to my mom who is a nurse and she says that those masks really do not help all that much.

She went on to say that they do make special "duck bill" masks (called that because it resembles a duck bill) that can be made special to fit you perfectly and that helps alot.... But take that with a grain of salt because I do not know about that myself.

From what I am hearing, the masks used by people removing paint and other toxins are effective. They can be purchased at the local hardware store.
