I have wondered if the whole Christianity religion ( first widely taken on by the Romans and used to control the masses) is what is being used to
control us now on a global scale. Many people are prescribing to the idea that there will be an "end of the world" and to place a date like 2012 on
it, is even more suspicious to me.
The idea of rapture, plagues, asteroids, Jesus coming down from the sky... I think they just want to control us. And for non-believers they made
archaeologists lie about the translation of the Mayan books. Ask any mayan ( as you most likely know) and they will not call 2012 an end time, but a
change (most likely just a cosmic change).
I think the whole UFO thing was made up as well (not to say that these events are not or have not happened, but perhaps the government is responsible
for making them happen).
I, like many out there, want to believe that all of this 2012 end of the world stuff is true (mainly because I am a masochist), but deep down inside,
I have this feeling that it will never really happen. What if scientists have come to the conclusion that we are all that is it in the universe, or
even worse, we are so far from life that it is impossible to reach? What if there is nothing special to life? What if prophecies don't come true?
What if nothing happens when we die?
