Having just read the interview I must say that I may have misjudged Vladimir.
Either he overcame his selfishness, or I misunderstood him through cultural differences. Either way I am impressed with whom he is now. He lives minimally when he could be in luxury. He donates most of his money to projects. Also hearing him reflect on the story, he seems like he really GETS it.

Now I am intrigued enough to look for book #2.

Vlad was direct and honest with how he wanted to represent his books and i guess his tendencies as an entrepreneur has not changed his habitual thinking. She allowed him to have his wishes due to her love for him. So it has unfolded the way it has. He himself exclaims that he has not spent his money on uneccesary material things and i think through the Russian website the money is going to Kin eco villages in Russia. He also wanted to find ways to boost Russia's economy.
I dont want to give too much away but at the end of the fourth book he slowly changes his thinking. This book also explains a way out of the matrix. It speaks of a way out of the controlled system we have been born too.
The more i read this book the more i think how Anastasia has reveled too much as i can feel the dark forces are using it with opposite thinking for humanity. Due to not enough people turning towards the growing light which can overrule darkness.
I think there was some good people out there our ancestors who left us a strength to overcome this darkness. The words that have been passed down from generation to generation is that Goodness always wins over evil.
We need to turn to the goodness within us and overstep the nagative barriers we hold onto and think that is us.

Shadow warrior i am editing this paragraph at this point in time as i only read your last reply on the first page and did not see the second page reply. I'am glad he has now overcome his pride and selfish ways. With my understanding of him you would have thought it was impossible. But this only ignites the truth that anything is possible. If only our own governments can turn away from darkness to the light.
Thankyou for sharing your thoughts on this i really enjoyed what you had to say.
Thankyou to everyone who has replied with such positive enthusiasm about the books. And my favourite quote " Be the change you want to see in this world" Mohandas Ghandi

If this is a religious sort of thing(not read the book, But?), then it is scary because it makes people believe that one can be saved....saved from what? Natural disasters happen all the time,''Ringing cedars'' wont save us! Death? Death will come to all and no one will escape death....if the earth fails to give us crops, then who do we go to?(who owns the rights to seeds?) Who do we seek to feed us?(the people we are against, wont lift a hand!) How do we then, satysfy our true hunger and thirst for knowledge? There is however one Word that can be applied to all other Words... ''Love''

Helen, you speak of love, but you sound so negative and afraid?!?

If this is another "cult" it is just one more we should investigate and learn all we can from. You are correct that no one escapes a physical death, and no one can "save" us, but what about a spiritual death? I fear that is happening all too often. My father's literal interpretation of the bible gives the definition of hell simply as "death." Although, it is meant on a spiritual level, what can be more disheartening that that. No fire and brimstone, just the ceasing of your soul to exist. No more chances to evolve, learn, explore, experience, and "LOVE." It has often been said that the opposite of love is not hate, but rather indifference. When your creator begins to show indifference for your plight, you are truly doomed.

Helen, I worry because you seem to be indifferent toward just another cult, another book, another organic cure, another solution to the world's problems, but I say there are still plenty of problems that need solutions. Anastasia may not have the answers you seek, but please do not stop seeking, read the book with an open mind, and if you gain even one new insight it will have been worth it!

My wife is attending a parenting class, and she strongly disagrees with the majority of what is being taught. The third week in, she came home with a drawing that her group did in class. She was excited about one silly point the teacher had made, and she applied it to potty training our 2 yr old. A week later he is pretty much trained. The class was worthwhile because of one sentence in 3-weeks of drivel.

Thanks for the post apples, I plan to read your links/books and absorb as much as possible!

You are lucky to have a cedar tree near you. Now i know what all this tree hugging is about and i went outside my front yard and hugged my tree and the leaves rustled and the old lady across the road thought i was strange and made a dash inside the house lol i giggled and didnt care.

By the way, I am on my way outside to hug a tree right now. I haven't read the book yet, but your post made me laugh, and as I am a 250 lb redneck on the S. Georgia, N. Florida line, but have never hugged a tree, I figured I should try it. It is Saturday afternoon, and most of my neighbors are out in their yards, so it should be interesting. I'll take the Harley out right after that to save face!

At least my wife has a great sense of humor! I'll I have are Pine trees; maybe they are in touch with their Cedar 'cousins'.

Hehehe and as have you made me laugh. I just pictured how you described it lol. How was the tree hugging experience for you?
I really liked your thoughts on this post. Reminds me how we do take things for granted and that we need to experience alittle bit more before passing judgement.

Hugging the tree was great. The kids laughed and they had to try it also. One of our trees in the backyard has a "face" on it (the ceramic kind you buy and hang up), his name is Merlin, and everyone enjoyed hugging Merlin, I think he liked it too!

The neighbors are not surprised by much anymore, so no funny looks.

Well I got the whole series of the first edition awhile back and im on book 3 out of 9 which is called The Space of Love. Its an awsome series and I thank you for posting the thread! I'm thinking that one of the main things that Anastaisa eats it grass! Up to the point where i am in the seires they have not discussed her diet much, at all. I assume whatever she eats is raw and natural because she is against starting fires. Theres a good movie called Real N Raw that makes the point that apes and elephants grow real big and strong and only eat leaves and grass! Does anyone know what Anastasia eats exactley?

Both links for books 1 and 2 have been taken down at the request of Ringing Cedars.

If Vlad has changed as much as everyone says, why has he priced his books at $17 each?

I realize he says he is donating most of the money to charity, but why price the books out of the range of so many people?

I don't know, that is a good question. If you were in my current area I would gladly lend them to you. It worked out something like I got one book for free by getting them all at the same time, which is not that great of a deal. I was thinking of donating them to the library after I'm done with them. But I will probably end up keeping them for people around me to read now that I think more about it. Maybe if people request their local librarys they will bring the books in. Also if you feel like hanging out in a big book store reading sometimes that might be an option.

I have had a long look around the internet for the audio books of Vladamir Megre, does anyone know where i can either buy or download them?

I find it far easier to listen in a quiet room to books than to read them as they send me to sleep in 10mins?

I have downloaded the first book in pdf so its not a necessity.

Any ideas or pointers would be great!!

Thanks

We must all put our hearts and minds together now to defeat the darkness and evil infiltrating us by those in powers to be.

One need not fight, master, overcome, defeat darkness per sa.
One simply shows the light and darkness ceases to be. In reality then darkness is an illusion.
All things then are created from the thoughts of one mind and the effect being the physical world we think we think we see. The light sees love in everything and anything.
