I like that one. It makes the point perfectly.

Just like the one from Churchill regarding having no brains if you are over 30 and not a conservative. It's not a point nor fact but an opinion.

It is a fact that most stupid people are conservative. Unless you can prove otherwise.

Sorry, but conservatives invented stupid. You guys have the market cornered. Good luck with that.

Colbert Study: Conservatives Don
Colbert thought a similar measure should be taken to end the whisperings that Posey was a human-alligator hybrid. Posey, in response to Colbert, said, "I expected there would be some civil debate about it, but it wasn't civil...There is no reason to say that I'm the illegitimate grandson of an alligator." And one wondered, "Does Posey not realize that Colbert is not speaking in earnest? His reaction seems uniquely stupid!"

and prove to be mentally ill...
Is this a colbert style joke, or are you seriously saying that our ELECTED officials are mentally ill. Don't forget it is the people who put these "mentally ill" politicians in office.

There is a cognitive difference between at least some conservatives/right wing and the rest of us...
... or how is it some on the right can wonder in all seriousness why its offensive for them to use the n word when (some) blacks use it themselves in reference to each other...
... or how about the infamous 1980's era bumper sticker that was sold at some GOP conventions that read... "AIDS... killing all the right people".
The n word... hate filled screeds... offensive statements and/or bumper stickers... gross generalizations such as all liberals hate America and all the other nonsense like that the vast majority of people find noxious YET at least some on the right (and enough of them for it to be a continual presence) find this stuff humorous...
There is if not a cognitive difference then certainly a moral one.

To say that there is a cognitive difference is not to say that one is more intelligent than the other... I did not say that nor did I mean that... I meant simply put that there is a difference between the two... cognition is not just a matter of intelligence but world view and how one processes data.
For example I have a good friend who is excellent at math but is totally blind when it comes to the arts... she just doesn't get it... I on the other hand excel at both the creative and the written arts... always have... however if I run out of fingers and toes I'm lost.
As for using the n word or thinking that anyone should have a right to... no it is not just a white issue... it is specifically a conservative one as far as I can tell... I have never heard a white liberal argue that just because some blacks refer to each other as n... then they should be allowed to as well... the only ones I have ever heard make that argument are from the right wing.
And no it is not over the top. It is right to the point. Hate speech via it spoken or written, while it is not solely a conservative act as it were... a lot of conservatives practice it...
Do you consider that bumper sticker appropriate? I certainly hope not. You strike me as more intelligent than that. And while the maker of it certainly has the freedom of speech to say it... it doesn't mean that the GOP had to allow it to be sold at their conventions... in doing so they gave it an implied seal of approval.
