Disinfo agents stop getting paid posting here - admit it when SHTF?

One other thing - I meant to add in my OP - was ..............

I wonder if they are worried about losing their jobs soon - will they miss posting in forums?

BTW - yep there are a few posters I have never seen agree with any thread, no matter what it is about. They seem to be intent on shutting down the thread. So, when I see their posts, I simply disregard them.

Would it not also be fair to say that if things become really sticky and some people stop posting as often then they might be believed/accused of being disinfo agents?

But then again, if I were paid to post and the thought entered my mind that I might be safer bugging out...money would not be a motivator to stick around.

I guess that doesn't really clear things up at all, does it? Is there a free-lance pay scale for disinformation? I might have earned a quarter for that post.

I have a fairly good idea who the disinfo agents are on here. You can spot them by the way they are very well informed on a subject, normally of above average intelligence, but completely close minded. They also try and exhaust you with stupid questions, and use techniques like forum sliding.

Disinfo agents are actually very useful, becasue once you spot them, you can see what direction they are trying to push things, and reverse engineer the truth from there. It's against forum rules to speak of these people out loud, so I will not do so.

I am a hard-working honest-to-goodness troll and these people give our kind a bad name.

I witnessed you hammer a so called agent this week...it was quite entertaining! They were shocked and lost for words...keep up the great work!

Where was the hammering, please link to the thread... I htink it's considered an ad hominenem to call anyone an agent, I'm not sure of site rules though.

I'm sure there probably are people paid to post here and elsewhere, but I personally think the term gets thrown around way too much here. Many, myself included, have been called disinfo agents simply for posting and having a little bit of common sense. Disagreement with the OP is not a definitive sign of a disinfo agent, but some people seem to be a bit paranoid and think that it is.

As for whether they would come clean, I highly doubt it. Angry people in large groups can cause a lot of damage, and tend to go a bit crazy. If someone was a disinfo agent and then came clean about it, I can see an angry mob hunting that person down and causing them or their family harm. So if there are any here, and they have a few brain cells, they won't tell anyone that they are if only to keep themselves and their families safe.

I think when SHTF the only jobs left will be those of the government. I would suspect an increase in disinfo agents getting paid overtime to monitor . I think the majority wins though.

My mind wont be swayed by disinfo. Ive wondered about some particular threads though. Since everything is a conspiracy who knows which theory to believe. Ive noticed some have ulterior motives.

From what Ive read here at ATS is Obama would pull the plug on the internet. Where would that leave any of us. I think we all have enough correct info to form our survival plans and have a heads up on those who don’t read these posts.

I agree with you, but when a select few keep posting just for the sake of agruing ,they are either disinfo or just like to agrue for the sake of agruing and seem to get their jollies from it, either way its BS, I just put them on ignore ,I really wish I didnt have to though as I do like to hear both sides but some go too far and cant seem to stop themselves for whatever reason .

I had one person send me a U2U to ask if I was an agent. What's the difference between an agent and a disinfo or are they the same.

Ignore but also know that you are on the right track. Why sow discord on a thread that has no truth to it? I think it could be seen as good sign. I will be on the look out for posters that are less than honest in their responses. Any hints to which thread I should start to look?

I think a lot of people get tarred with the disinfo brush. Another poster said it perfectly, usually the OP's with the least amount of proof to their claims use the 'disinfo agent' term the most.

I think the term also shows a lack of understanding of human nature. We all have known/know or deal with people that no matter what you say, no matter how right you are or for that matter how right they know you are just simply like to take the other side. I say 'white' and more than likely, even if it is true, someone just has to call it 'black'. Some people just like to fight. Others are just know-it-alls and really can't help saying the opposite of what is said.

EDIT: I believe there are disinfo people at work.....not all are covered in what I just said.

There's no need to pay people to spread disinfo. It is a common character flaw in all human beings that is easily exploited for free.
For every point of view one holds, there is a counter-point held by another. It is what it is, and has been so since we began this ages old shouting match.

Are there real agents of the government whose task is spreading disinfo? Perhaps there is, but what difference does it make? They are as easily refuted as the next ideologue; whether paid or not.

Of course there are paid disinfo agents on the net! Why would they not ply their trade on ATS? Will they come clean if they lose their jobs? And do what? They probably don't have any information about what the facts or truth really is about the issues they are paid to misdirect or obscure. If they lose their jobs because the SHF; depends on how much they know and how dangerous that information would be to the NWO. They might be kept on, sacked or shot!

It is my guess that these such people are pandered to to the point of feeling like they are part of the " elite " and as such are more important then the rest of us sheep . As such they may very well see the roll that the play as an important role in the betterment of our society .

What they don't release is that they too will suffer the same fait as the rest of us

I know the kind of posters you are talking about, heck we're probably thinking of the same ones
. I put them on ignore long enough to keep myself from posting before thinking, and then take them back off the next day. From that point forward I just skim their posts once they start arguing for the sake of arguing. So I still get to read both sides, but keep myself from saying something I probably shouldn't. Only had to do it twice though.

They're the same thing as far as I'm aware. At least they sent you a U2U instead of derailing an entire thread trying to claim you were, and then be unable to explain why they think that other than to say "Because you are." Makes it hard to discuss a topic once the mud starts getting slung about.

That's a good point. If they read that most people agree and have put all the pieces together to fit. They would have the same fate.

I also think we can convert them! It must be in the back of the minds whether they deny it or not.

What I dont understand is why they would be on here. To alert the government we know things. Those that just jump on a thread and call it crazy are the ones who appear crazy, especially if 99% on the thread agree with each other.

I also think there are people on here who want attention and hope to be called a disinfo. It may give them some sense of superiority. Like the cop syndrome.

Regardless of whether or not disinfo agents exist on ATS, I'm not sure I agree with the OP's logic. First off, our defense spending is off the charts so I don't see any shortage of money for disinfo agents.

But here's what I fear the most. If disinfo agents stop posting, I don't think it's a sign that they've run out of funds. Rather, it's a sign that the PTB have us in checkmate and don't need to waste their resources anymore. Thus, I consider it a good sign if disinfo agents are still around. It means we still have a chance.

Yes I guess it was better to use a U2U. I wonder why he would ask and why he would believe what I said??? I'm sure an agent wouldnt say "Well just between you and I yes I am"

Maybe these so called agents are like a cop if you ask them, by law they must tell? Of course our governemt doesnt always play fair.

Speaking of derailing an entire thread I never like seeing my name as the last poster. I feel like a thread killer, when that happens.

I have found at least one that has come clean, and he was on my foe list before he came clean. (I pride myself on having a foe list that is chock full of dis-info agents.)

Edit: We will not point fingers at members.
