Can you provide any information that you might have on this 'son of star wars' project? Haven't heard of it before. Thanks.

He/she is referring to the U.S. Missle Defense Shield. And to give an answer, only time will tell although given Secy Gates overriding need to kill the ABL program I would say it probably won't go through as envisioned.

right i heard about it on the internet and then researched it futher. i think its a missile defence system that they ran out of money to make

You're assuming that it hasn't already been implemented via a black project. I recall one UFO video that shows a UFO in Earth's orbit being shot at by some sort of missile from the ground. I think it's possible that there is already a missile defense system in place.
