Moon walk astronaut, warns disclosure essential to survival of human race

If governments gonna disclosure the alien agenda and the fact that they visit us...i do see some problems that will come along.

If they ever disclosure the fact that humans and this earth is visited, dont they have to disclosure the fact why aliens abduct people too?

In my opinion the whole abductee phenomena is the reason why they dont disclosure...Question that would follow would be...are the aliens friendly and on our side, or do they carry a very dark agenda, through humans eye, maybe even pure evil?

Whoa man, wow, don't fear the Reaper, don't fear aliens either. We have way too much fear in our current time as it is. Fear is a negative emotion and we have way too much negativity in our culture as well. Don't freak out and start shooting and here is what makes me think this...

There are a lot of indications that "the aliens" have been interacting with us for many years, perhaps centuries or even milena. Some people even believe that they created/genetically manipulated us into existence. This is my opinion, but it seems to me that if they wanted to take over or kill us, they would have done so well before we developed that nuke you are advocating using against them. We could even postulate that they have already taken over, but even if that was true life really isn't THAT bad right now is it? This is one of the ideas that has helped me sleep at night during the last several years.

Anyway, firing a shot at them unprovoked would definitely be a really bad idea, their technology is obviously superior to ours. Also, remember that there is no proof of them being hostile to us.

I do get disappointed with talk like that "KILL EM ALL, RAWRRRRR!". Why? Because I see that as the primary attitude that is responsible for us not having disclosure in the first place. Governments are afraid of us humans behaving just like your example.

The human race has so much bigotry and hatred for those who are different...we are going to eventually tear ourselves apart through our differences (the world is simply too ugly in order to have harmony)

however, introduction of a new species (aliens) for the human race to collectively unite against to hate....that could spell harmony?

In other words, first hand experience. Why does he want to fire his canon from someone else's shoulder? Why doesn't he come out with what he knows? Either way he should pipe down as we've had enough of him. I'm on the verge of kicking the bucket due to 'Mitchell overdose'.

His monologues have now started getting tiring! Just because he's an astronaut, everyone seems to go ga ga over what he says. And he keeps repeating what he's been saying for a decade like a gramophone needle stuck in a groove!

He is disclosing, but without the "establishment, Uncle Sam, NASA and US Government, his disclosure means nothing. It makes all the difference in the world to have the powers that be, become the disclosers of the information.

They knew, and of course they never told us, that walking on the moon is very, very dangerous.. for the poor astronaut's mental health !

Poor Mitch, he assumed that walking is good for your health and he never realized the horrible truth !

FWIW, my opinion is that disclosure will open a huge can of worms that TPTB don't need/want opening.

Let's suppose that ET comes and says, "Here's some info that will help you lot out..." and then proceeds to expose free power, how religions can sometimes get in the way, how easy space travel is, how many other races are out there that can benefit us all, how stupid oil is, how stupid cars are, how stupid money is, how futile war is, what actually happened on 911/77 etc. etc. and how TPTB have known this for a long time...

A lot of people will have a lot of 'splainin' to do, Lucy. We (the human race) would have a huge lightbulb moment, and MORE questions will come up.
Huge amount of egg on the face, and a massive loss of power!!!!

If you were sitting pretty due to your fortune/fame/power based on any of the above or your history of suppressing information, you'd be very afraid that you were in for a big fall.

Seriously? This isn't even the same kind of situation. The bailouts were an effort to keep the status quo, that being those in power remain in power. Disclosure of alien lifeforms coming from off of our planet would do nothing but destroy the status quo! Who are you to say it's the same thing? I hear a twinge of disinformation and an effort at distraction in your post if you ask me.

And on that note, I don't think disclosure is going to happen any time soon anyway, as much as I want it to. IMO this is just being used as a distraction method in order to keep our minds and eyes off the real stuff that's happening here on earth. Many people have become jaded to the huge loss in the job market every day, and the wars being ravaged all over the place, and the scandals and whatnot. The media has picked up on this, and they are feeding us a bunch of nonsense in order to keep us interested in their programs.

Like I said, I would love for disclosure to happen. I just don't think now is the right time. Maybe in, oh I don't know, three years or so? Maybe that's what our global "ah-ha!" moment is going to be... makes sense to me.

Unless Edgar Mitchell has actually encountered ET's himself, he is no more an authority on them than I am. I'll believe anything Mr. Mitchell tells me about being an astronaut or walking on the moon - but as far as UFO's is concerned, he's just another person with an opinion.

I can see one scenario to explain why Mr. Mitchell is agitating for disclosure, without himself talking about what he actually knows. It is possible that he was given classified information that he cannot discuss without fear of a harsh prison sentence. If that is the case, he might well campaign for disclosure without himself being able (or willing) to say what he knows. It's far-fetched, but I could see it happening.

Other than that, though, I just can't consider Mitchell to be an authority on UFO's.

Here is a possible scenario: mr Mitchel can't reveal the truth, because he is threatened by the powers that be.

Or he's been waiting for a bigger stage. Had he revealed anything before now he may just have been lumped in to the final four minutes "and finally" humour segment of the MSM evening news with the parrot trainers, the tin-foil hat brigade, and the goth witches.

Maybe he does have something very important that he can reveal. The press conference where the government was 'threatened' to disclose by May 31 seemed to infer that there was some information available that would make them seriously squirm.

Right now, he's saying "there are ETs"
And everyone is jumping in and saying, "crackpot" "Fraud" "kook" and "you got nuthin'" without him even attempting to show proof.
If he shows his hand too early the debunk brigade can marginalise his stuff easier.
If he shows it with everyone watching? Maybe a few more people will have open minds.

Why do so many think there will be riots if the government admitted that they are real.

"Did you hear Obama say aliens are real?"

"Yeah lets go flip some cars, shatter some windows, and burn down a gas station, that'll scare em off!"

40 or 50 years ago sure, there would have been some mass panic. But it's a different world today and I don't think mass chaos would ensue if that knowledge became public. Sure there would be some crazies but far from instability, imo.

Edgar Mitchell is an old man. Maybe he shouldn't be specific on things if he wants to see the day that disclosure happens. You know that NASA or the Vatican will have to kill him if he drops the bomb on society. Actually I think he should be brave and press the button. He should have enough shelter and protection to get him by for the years to come. Put it this way Alex Jones and Art Bell are still alive or are they?

That will be very different, it will be very individual too.

It's a strange world where alines from our current Universe visit Earth and a lot of 'aliens' (enteties) are still travel between the dimensions, here and there.

Yes true that Apollo was a hoax and Mitchell never of course walked on the moon. So he must be a company man and just one of the many "trustworthy" used to "leak" information to the public that gets siphoned into forums like these. The responses throughout the web are all assimilated by supercomputers - using programs of social psychology. Easy when you know how. Control, it all gets down to that.

What people say, must always be taken in context of who they are and their affiliations and loyalties, thereby we can understand more what is going on. Otherwise we get spun forever. The baseline is, if you don't understand why apollo can not have been possible, or that 9/11 can not have happened the way we have been told, (or if unsure your reaction is an emotional one rather than deciding on a sober assesment of facts over time), disclosure is really a moot point, a distraction, there is still a great deal of elementary scientific understanding and common sense lacking, with tendencies just to follow the group collective karma, and it would be hard for cosmic brothers and sisters to relate to us. They would just need to contain us and hope we matured and got our act together on Earth.

Sure there's all the smoke and mirrors, but finding the truth of these two issues really takes only a rudimentary grasp of basic physics. From there, its not such a leap to get clear on why things are the way they are, by acknowledging humanity's current status in the greater cosmic context.

Have we considered this recent bump in media coverage from odd sightings to this is starting to boil over? This is the perfect distraction to slip in the one world currency and NWO. While I think the whole Project Blue Beam information to be either slanted or a complete fallacy without any evidence...alot of this seems pretty 'convenient' at just the right time.

I've been maintaining my state of obscurity on ATS as an observer, but I feel compelled to speak in reply to this statement. I believe you underestimate the lack of intellect that the general public retains. Delude yourself and others of like mind to your view of the populace, but hear this; When true disclosure comes to fruition, with unyielding proof, instability will be the mildest word that comes to mind when the dissolution of our relatively tranquil subsistence occurs. There will be a time of rejoice for those of us with open minds but I fear it will be short-lived. I do so hope I'm mistaken, but I envisage an onslaught of extreme fear and those who will surely try to take advantage of it.
