It's on the google maps swine flu tracker, although there's some others missing off of the map. Namely the Massachusetts cases.

Here's the link again for those that may have missed it the first time.

They should stop being passive and stop worrying about money effecting the airline economy. They should just isolate it before all the airline staff and crew die from it, is that not more important than money? People need to get real not weak, just do what you have to. It can not be coincidence if people from New York, Scotland and New Zeland are effected by returning from Mexico, if its that contageous then they should isolate it.

Here's the CBC article.

4 cases of swine flu confirmed in Nova Scotia, 2 in B.C.

Nova Scotia and British Columbia have confirmed cases of swine flu, while new cases of the infection have been found in New York City, as health officials around the world test for a virus linked to a more serious outbreak in Mexico.

81 feared dead from swine flu in Mexico

uk.news.yahoo.com... d-from-swine-flu-in-mex-2802f3e.html

Mexicans were taking new precautions on Sunday amid fears that a new flu epidemic believed to have killed up to 81 people in the country could reach "pandemic" proportions and spread to the United States and worldwide.

Mexican Health Minister Jose Angel Cordova raised the probable death toll from the new multi-strain swine flu in Mexico to 81, including 20 already confirmed.

Avoid mexican food.
Cover up mexican women with masks.
Don't go to infedel mexico land.
Don't go on their planes.
If you leave mexico and start life else where, isolate them.
Don't eat pigs or pork.

Just some similarites with some other issues of fear that sound the same, can you guess what it is?

Sorry but it kind of sounds like a fear in which many live by else where in the world that is not based on desease but a belief system of people's differences.

I just want to make sure I understand your point before continuing. I hope you're not trying to turn this into a racial or cultural issue? If not, my apologies. But that is what it sounds like?

Oh yes, swine virus is not quite kosher, isn't it?

This epidemic is political, definitely.

Somone pointed out that of real concern will be as and when we see people who DID NOT travel to Mexico contracting the virus.....eg A relative of someone who went to Mexico contracts it off them despite being nowhere near Mexico

Has anyone come across any confirmed reports of that yet ? I only so one unconfirmed report off someone updating the issue on twitter , he's a journalist at some CDC briefing as I write and earlier said :

"@roxyhumz Some US people who were infected have not been to Mexico and the family of school children in NYC are sick as well.
about 2 hours ago from TweetDeck in reply to roxyhumz"

here is his Twitter page

There is a slur on Sharia law, in which I feel like it treats non believers like people with the plague and some may see it like that no doubt.
On the other side of the message it shows people's fear towards another system of government that is the fear of having their libities watered down to accomodate such belief patterns. I know it sounds offensive but I just saw it as an ironic message when it said that on the news of the precausions people are taking.

This is going to fuel theory that the virus was engineered.
Like: It was engineered to attack certain genotypes more harshly.
So, its appearance in the USA is a "control group thing", released out directly from labs, not coming from Mexico.

But, it is too early to say.

It could just mean that it is easily transmissable to people who haven't been to Mexico and that we haven't seen any fatalities as yet due to statistics....implying as more and more get infected in one state you might begin to see some people dying

They haven't raised it to a level 4 yet because it doesn't suit their purpose.

They'd rather let people keep thinking that it's not that serious so they don't take the proper precautions, thus allowing it to spread like wildfire.

It has been said that the virus originates from the big pig farm near Mexico City, something like that.

If that is true, how it got to NY or Canada so quickly? By plane?

I'm not saying it's impossible. It is possible, especially when the usual incubation time is between 1- 4 days. People travel fast, they are in touch with others, and from airports it can spread really fast in all directions.

I think at this time we can't really be sure of the exact situation outside of Mexico, and we don't really know the exact situation in Mexico, because of the reports from Mexican doctors we saw on various blogs, which state that there are much more deaths than officially confirmed.

Statistics are usually lagging behind the actual situation.

Stange isn't it? We have the U.S. in Emergency State...Mexico State in Emergency State, double the confirmed cases in the U.S. and still, the threat level has not moved up? Very suspect!

I think that the state officials are not in seating during weekend and that they also need time to respond. The level of emergency is probably adequate at the moment.

Realistically, what should they do? Ban all passenger transport? It is much more complicated than that.
And the vaccine - that may be effective only in the future, not now.

And so it begins with someone like me saying "so it begins". I am wondering if this is really a "so it begins" moment or just more soon-to-be stale doom. I wonder.

Really scary, but I just don't know. Thus, I will say, so it begins (maybe).

So it begins.

Nuff said.
