I personally believe there is no such thing as gradual disclosure.

they exist or they don't - its that black or white.

How entrenched they are in our society, the release of that information I expect to be gradual.

Again, disclosure will not be our call to make, so if the 31st is the date, it is only under instruction Obama (or whoever) will divulge the information to the masses.

Small disclosure is like saying "slightly pregnant"

Even if their is something small disclosed it is a admission of something bigger.

I believe it is important to define what we mean by "disclosure."

Does disclosure mean that the U.S. government presents evidence to extra-terrestrial life having visited the Earth? If so, why is that so important? Do we rely upon the government to authenticate our existence?

For those that believe in life beyond this world, then it probably seems rather unimportant for any government to present information to complement a previously held tenet. It may be that we feed into the theory of government-as-parent by anticipating such a release of information. Are we all statists now?

Anyone can present information; true knowledge can only come from within.

so in the end they can also end up saying...yes they were just new kind of aircrafts or spacecrafts and that's it. and then it will just be a disclosure of no interest for anyone (apart from other governments & military dept. around the world)

although i believe in extra-terrestrial life, keep in mind that if the US government ever did anything extreme, such as kidnapping people and testing on them...similar to alien abductions, they would want to keep it a secret. and a good way to keep a secret is to make something else up and then deny it. it forces you to focus on something completely different and allows you to continue your work with a grin

There is no hard evidence. People seem to think that disclosure means that governments around the globe will admit that ET exist.

Back during his presidency Bill Clinton said that if the aliens were real, then he knew nothing about them. Whether or not you believe him is up to you, but I tend to believe what he said. So, if that's the case, why would they keep the information from one president, who was also a democrat, and not keep it from the current president? If we do have a relationship with extraterrestrials, I don't think they're going to trust that big of a secret to someone who may only be in office for four years.

Bush/Cheney probably had a closer relationship with the secret side of the government than the current president, so I believe that they probably knew more than Obama. Not that it makes a difference; they'll never tell.

Ok if it was anybody but Obama I would say not a snowballs chance in hell. However as it is him there is just a very slim chance.

However even in this case it is most likely for one of two reasons.

First to distract from something else. (fearful)

Second because they ie, he has no choice in the matter. (very fearful)

That is assuming these things exist in the first place.

Now as many on this thread have said you can’t give partial disclosure, as one guy said you can’t be just a bit pregnant. The first question from the reporters will be who knew what and when?? They will be digging around in this for the rest of this century.

So for the fist reason distraction, perhaps from what the total collapse of our economic system?? Not improbable. Something worse, sorry I can’t thing of anything at the moment.

The second reason he has no choice?? They are on there way in force and he knows and there is no stopping them.

I just fear that if this happens it will not be good for many of us and I am not alone in this thinking. There are far better minds than mine who think the same.

Let put it this way if they are kind to us it will mean that we will have to start from the beginning in every part of our civilization. Could be what we need in the long run but it will be very tuff getting there.

If they are not kind to us I really don’t want to go there.

Anyway just what I think.
