This should make some of you rethink your rock theories.

This image taken near Cydonia area. There is an optional texture which can cover this area up, I suggest you disable it to see this non optional texture underneath.

Wow that does look like an alien head. I use Google Mars from time to time and I was curious on how you change the settings in the texture that you are talking about. Is it in the toolbar?

It is always fun to explore mars via this program looking for alien evidence that JPL and NASA forgot to smudge. Not saying there is anything, but it still is fun to look and wonder.

Here is another link to view the globe of mars in Very high definition. It is called HiRISE online image viewer.

Ya I saw what looked like a baby monkey. Cute isn't it?
I showed my dad and he instantly thought it was an alien head.

Doesn't look like an alien head to me. Looks like an infant baby head. I saw it right away
Actually the more I look at it, it looks like a human toddler's head.

However, I see shapes in just about anything (clouds, plaster, marks on the tile) - wonder what psychs would say about me? lol

Why? What is there in that image that may make some people rethink any rock theories? It's just an area that resembles a head, so what?

This image taken near Cydonia area.
What Cydonia area, Cydonia is subdivided in three areas:Cydonia Mensae (the most famous, the one with the "face"), Cydonia Colles and Cydonia Labyrinthus. This photo is from Mawrth Vallis.

There is an optional texture which can cover this area up, I suggest you disable it to see this non optional texture underneath.
And you can go to the "official" page for that image and use the original images used by Google (the originals are a little better). Once there you can use the viewer or download the JPEG2000 images.

PS: the viewer to which wiredamerican posted a link does not have this image, I don't know why, there are several images missing from the whole 9432 images (including some six or seven photos from Phobos, Deimos, Earth and Jupiter).

Hi WiredAmerican,

Sorry for not getting back sooner,

In the Sidebar under places, just uncheck the textures that you want to disable,

Recheck them to re-enable. Kind of complex for natural conditions to carve.

I suggest you look directly under the child face you will see another looking directly at you.

Plus there's more there if you look around,

The reason I prefer using google mars is it allows you to adjust your angle of view.

This whole texture is very interesting.

Regards,

I use Google Mars to locate the photos and then I look at the real photos, something like an optical index.

that's pretty darn interesting.
i doubt it's artificial, like Hoagland's "Face on Mars".

It looks more like a lucky occurence of craters and erosion.
kind of like that hill in North Dakota that looks like a woman's head, also viewable from Google Earth.

Great find, nonetheless!

Beauty from Pain,

Glad you caught the image, sure makes you think doesn't it.

They say Mars is a dead world, barring discovery of bacterial life forms?

My opinion is that Mars is at least as life bearing as earth, life of a different kind.

Quite a statement isn't it. Well I have reasons to think like this.

Simply put, we are not the "end all", "be all" creatures in this universe!

There are higher powers than us involved in this universe and the sooner we begin to realize this the sooner we shall gain enlightenment into whats really around us.

There are many life forms today in our solar system which do not require food, shelter or any special conditions that earth life needs. These entities are not normally visible to us without the use of a camera. Many pictures have been taken over the years and have not been taken seriously.

I also subscribe to Jacques Vallee's theories and think he is on the right path.

Greeneyed Leo,

I think you have no worries or need to think of what physchs would say.

I am now 57 years old and have had a life changing experience, to say the least! I did seek physciatric help in this matter from two separate specialists and received a clean bill of mental health.

I asked one of them if they were noticing an increase in the number of visits from people such as myself and was told that he was seeing an increase in the number of people with the exact same symptoms.
.
I see like you do. Don't feel like there is something wrong with you, its perfectly normal:>) You are just more aware of whats around you! In other words you have great observation skills.

Regards

Hello Armap my friend, very sorry for the delay getting back to you.

I am retired and work a couple of days a week and sometimes it gets in the way of my spare time. Sadly thiis was one of them. Apologies my friend.

Thanks for viewing the post.

As for the rocks comment, I just threw it out there as a possibility some people would be swayed by the image who normally wouldn't be.

Thanks for the links and I downloaded the big pic jp2000 and its very nice but I need something to crop it with. I use Ifranview which is a nice viewer, but does have a memory problem with those large images. I use a little laptop for this it has dual core pentium, with 3 gigs of mem and runs at 2 gigs. So its not the computer.

Do you recommend a particular program for working with the jpeg2000 images? I can't afford to buy photoshop so thats out of the question.:>(

Why did I say Near Cydonia, I suppose because I was at cydonia mensae just before I discovered the covered over texture close by.
Just very rough directions to get people near the place. I'm certainly not perfect!

Now about the image, you can see upon examining it that its lining half of a crater wall. Now I would think that it is somewhat more protected from wear and tear then something on the surface. I know the winds can be quite high on Mars, so it should be harder for nature to effect the image.

I believe it there on purpose and intelligently put there.

There is just too many things on Mars not adding up. This is my personal opinion, I offer only things I consider evident, not yet provable but maybe someday that will change.

Best Regards,

Im not surprised that ET have built a shrine to Shirley Temple. How many super advanced intelligent species would ignore the obvious talent Shirley had, I ask. None, thats how many.
My cntatct at NASA says that this site is well known high up, and is Called the Shirley Temple, umm Temple.
Given she was a popular Star, and ET are also ito Stars and Star travel, this monument to Shirley on the Martian terrain is both fitting and much deserved.
I believe they also built a shrine for Mickey Rooney on Jupitar but it was hit by an asteroid which left a series of fading images, much like Mickey's later work, funny hey.

You know, apparently if you squint at the moon, you can see the 'Man in the Moon' too!

this is really a case of "what does this look like?".
There has been no evidence that intelligent life ever existed on Mars. Even the theory that life ever existed on Mars is hotly debated

If you want rock formations showing faces, have a look at google and you'll find plenty on Earth, most of which are based upon where the photograph was taken

Does this show the Easter Island heads as being alien?

Is this Mayan made in Wyoming?

of course theyre not. What you see if rock formations

I firmly believe that there is life on Mars. Or at least remnants of life. However, this does nothing for me. So it's a hill that, from above, looks like a infants head from the side... It leads to no sound conclusions and has no correlating features of interest, no geometries in its surroundings.

Beside the face there is intelligent geometric design, other faces and structures are present in this particular photo. The Martians were and are very advanced they can take reflective terrain and use sunlight to reflect created images from the Martian surface areas similar to photographic plates used early on in the development of photography back in the mid and late 1800's on Earth. These surface images are also similar to laser imprints made with hitech imaging on Earth.

This imaging technique is used to hide the real objects beneath a projected image in other words similar to camouflage.

Sorry, I forgot to mention the program I use (besides the viewer that can be downloaded from the HiRISE site).

I use kdu_show, from Kakadu Software.

Thanks for those images Daisy-Lola...

There are many natural formation on Earth that look artificial. For example, there is this famous image of a hilly region in Alberta Canada.
This is completely natural (except for the road leading to the figure's "ear").

Hi there!

Nice find! There are a lot more of these examples in that area.
A lot of people reject them as just coincidence. But as I see the quality and quantity of those, I am positive its art made by our ancestors

I have put some examples on youtube. Maybe you like to watch it

This head shot from Mars looks like a skull one of 4 different alien Martian skulls photographed together that looks as though the skulls have been put on display from the different aliens from the Pathfinder Sojourner mission on Mars.

One of the larger Skulls from the Pathfinder Sojourner mission photos has the exact same alien drawing of an alien with an extraordinary large nose with a cloth looking headress. This has been varified to me from the Fema training manual drawings of what extraterrestrials look like for the knowledge of firefighters back in the late 1990's. This portion of the manual was created on what to do with crashed UFO's and encounters with extraterrestials found at crashed or landing sites.

Hey, here are a couple of "faces" from the one of the rovers and an additional object. There is facial feature redundancy on mars

Check out the perfect circle I found. I wonder what natural process could create that? I dont think its erosion, its far to symmetrical.
