Very interesting. Makes you wonder how long before other major countries reveal their own secrets regarding the UFOs, and this whole coming out generates a chain reaction leading to a major global revelation...

The minister also stated that Brazil had the right to reveal to its population the reality of the existence of aliens if the need arose without
America’s permission. He then went on to make the interesting remark that while many people were ready to accept the idea of aliens many were not
ready for this kind of information.

Ahhh... One more benefit for NOT being aligned with the US and NATO, adn backed by strong supporters such as Venezuela, Russia and China. Gives all the political latitude that bureaucrats don't have when they are monitored and pressured from behind by the CIA, MI6 and the MOSSAD.

And what if BO gets out on a whim and reveals the whole thing near the end of his term? That'd be some good timing for 2012...

So basicly you're saying that you're going to wait to be told what to believe, and that you won't believe it unless a man in a suit, on the telly tells you it's true?

Dude, use your own mind, lots of countries are releasing UFO files, that's admitting that they a- kept secret UFO files, and b- That they already know about them.

The statement in the opening post, quoted the guys saying "there are still people who aren't ready yet" Do you consider yourself one of those who are "not ready" ? That's what it looks like from here.

Awesome post

I find it interesting, as others have pointed out, that they are still currently concerned with how people will take it. I am surprised at the number of people that I try to talk to about this that close their mind to it; they even get agitated if you press the conversation.

Couldn't agree more with your general opinion, but it does prove one magnificently important point. Those of us fortunate enough to have seen something are not all liars, it proves for a fact nearly to any doubter that we're not all liars, mistaken or insane. Hopefully that fear of ridicule will one day stop, and we can point the finger right back, laugh and s'n-word' just as we have had done to us for how long?

Still I'm amazed, amazed by the people that attempt to put themselves across as being very intelligent so they understand and we're just mere fools. That's the one type of situation that drives me crazy, the elitist ego driven fools.

Between the 50's and 90's, this kind of attitude was quite common. I'm seeing a new trend nowadays. Many well-known skeptics will admit that there is at the very least some strange cases that don't have a plausible explanation as of yet. Even though they don't necessarily believe they're aliens, interdimensional beings, time travelers or what have you, they still hold a common interest with the UFO community - they want to find out what they really are.
