Thousands of protestors

Lots of End the Fed support

Support for HR 1207

more pics here

Where was the coverage?
or
What did the very minimal coverage focus on?

It was focused on the ONE guy who had an Obama is the antichrist sign! I believe he was a plant. But I'm not even convinced he was really there. I was all over in that rally and I was looking for interesting or non-partisan anti-federal reserve protesters. You would think that I would have noticed a sign like that.

Roughly 5000, although more by some counts, and as low as 3000 unofficially from the daily page who had this to say

But the rally’s political rants may have been upstaged by the conspiracy-minded crazies, who carried signs that equated President Obama to Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin, lamented the rise of socialism, and warned of Obama’s plan for “white slavery."

“I do think he’s the anti-Christ,” one man told me of Obama. He carried a sign proclaiming just that, but didn’t want to be identified.

This is just simply untrue It is very clear that the media will not portray this in a positve way.

The chicago tribune story wasy similarly focused

One sign in the crowd compared President Barack Obama to the anti-Christ.

I am highly suspicious that out of thousands of agitated but peacefull demonstrators, that this one guy would steal the show.

MSNBC left that out but downplayed the idea like this

Democrats say these protesters are the exception.

"Most people are very happy with the Governor's leadership. They're very happy with Barack Obama's leadership," said Joe Wineke, Democratic Party of Wisconsin chair. "You can see it in the polling data."

I saw the news vans there. I saw them taking interviews. I should have taken pictures of the media because Fox47, who was there all the way through the rally has nothing to report. And it seems like all of the local media here (at least the ones who even have a story on this) have basically reprinted the same story. It is disheartening to witness the controlled media in action.

On the bright side. I was happily surprised that I was warned about the NWO and the dangers of global currency/banking No less than 20 or even 30 times. there were many people who were clearly "Awake" and doing there part, working through the crowd with fliers and some quick words. I was doing the same thing and traded fliers and contact info with several people.

Media blackouts. Media whitewash. Media focus only on one negative guy who may not have even been there or might have been a plant to discredit the whole movement.

All that aside I had a good time, I met some good people, and I woke up a few who will, in the course of their new investigations, probably find their way here. I am going to try and get to Chicago for the protest at the federal reserve branch there.

I live next to Madison and watched a few of the local news channels and they all shown the same crap, pics of a guy holding anti-obama signs. All the channels seemed to use the same exact footage and it sure didn't look like 5000 people, more like 50 by the shots the cameras were getting for the news clips.
It's total BS how shabby of a report the stations and papers were doing but then I guess I shouldn't expect any good reporting from MSM.
I wrote WISC TV about this but doubt they will even read the email since they never seem to. I won't even try writing the other stations as they are even worst.

I work on the east side - not far from the cap area.

The Wisconsin hunters clad in blaze orange marching on the DNR at the capitol got more coverage than the tea party did - at least on CH 27 ( the big 27 you know!)

They were signing people in as they came into the square, and near the end Vickie Mckenna who was the last speaker said that according to those numbers there were more than 5000.

The pics above clearly show the numbers to easily be in thousands, and as I was very disappointed in the coverage. I didnt catch the news on TV but I physically stood next to a TV crew interviewing two seperate guys for about 15 minutes. I was even thinking about asking them to interview me but decided not to waste my time, and it would have been a waste. All I can find is some breif stories on the local the local channel websites.

Good work writing a letter. I will write Fox47 and ask them why they had there breaking news van there throughout the whole thing and yet they had no report.

Mabey because there wasn't any violence and I don't think anyone got arrested, so they will just slide it to the back page and it will be gone tommorrow and then we can all go on about paying off the impossible to ever pay off revolving interest debt.

Was that DNR thing going at the same time or was that a different day?

By the way, I was able to find the guy with the Obama antichrist sign. Someone else was there and got him and posted it on flicker. I doon't have the link anymore but it's irrelevent. So he was there. Even if he really thought that, it is totally biased to blanket the whole event as people who believe Obama is the antichrist.
Socialist, Welfare state, Anti gun rights, World government supporter, mabey. Antichrist, I doubt it.

The DNR march was on Wednesday too - I think - although it may have been on Tuesday - it was in the capitol as well.

Either way I know watching channel 27 I learned more about how deer hunters are unhappy with projected deer herd numbers ( bad DNR math they are calling it ) than I did about the tea party.

Yeah, I recognised him right away. I grew up here since I was a kid so it was kind of impossible to not spot him instantly.

I didn't see any blaze orange but I think it's obvious that they don't want to attract any attention to it (the teaparty) and thats really fine with me. The real action is what will people do now?

If everyone just goes home and says Hey yeah I was there we did it. Then nothing will change. If people persevere and keep trying to motivate and tell people about the money masters it might matter over time.

My hope would be to get the issue of the federal reserve and the central banking system on the presidential campaign. It will depend on how quickly the world currency moves forward.
