now seriously, how can obama be the messiah???

our nation has already crowned the messiah....

just look here:

www.thegreatseparation.com...

Want to know which lawmaker carried the crown? The Washington Post reports:

More than a dozen lawmakers attended a congressional reception this year honoring the Rev. Sun Myung Moon in which Moon declared himself the Messiah and said his teachings have helped Hitler and Stalin be "reborn as new persons."

At the March 23 ceremony in the Dirksen Senate Office Building, Rep. Danny K. Davis (D-Ill.) wore white gloves and carried a pillow holding an ornate crown that was placed on Moon's head. The Korean-born businessman and religious leader then delivered a long speech saying he was "sent to Earth . . . to save the world's six billion people. . . . Emperors, kings and presidents . . . have declared to all Heaven and Earth that Reverend Sun Myung Moon is none other than humanity's Savior, Messiah, Returning Lord and True Parent."

I'd find it more humorous how the neocon conservatives are always accusing the dems for the things that they've already done, but well.....our nation is in just too much of a mess at the moment to find humor in much of anything!!!

we can't have two messiahs, and our congress has already crowned our chosen one!

this is definatly some sort of misinformation of misguiding website that is trying to preach that obama is the lord.
this is very disgusting propoganda methods being used to persuade people to belive in obama.
if i am not mistaken, in the bible it tells that there will be someone in which all will believe that he is jesus, although he is the antichrist.
this could be the begining of the end of days, in which the world praises obama, and fights against the will of god.
i will definatly have a closer look at this website.
thanks for the post, and good luck in you efforts to inform people.

LOL!! especially wikipedia.org!! I mean heaven forbid they actually LEARN something!

My grandfather pegged Obama way back when he was first chosen as the Democratic candidate. He said "That man is a post turtle." I said "A what?" He replied, "A post turtle... You're walking down the road, and see a turtle on a fence post. Now, any logical person knows damn good, and well he didn't get there on his own." My grand father was a dyed in the wool Democrat for 85 years. He is changing parties now because he said FDR would roll in his grave to see what the party had become.

I find it disturbing that even in mixed company, and somewhat neutral territory you can't say anything that could even be construed as negative about "The Great One" or you get looks of disapproval. I mean come on he is a human, fallable, and flawed. He IS making, HAS made, and WILL make mistakes, and his detractors will be there to gouge him for it, just like we do every president. We bashed Bush, and for good reason, Obama should not be immune. It isn't healthy for a republic to idolize or worship their leader. It is a position of extreme responsability, and dire consequence, not a throne to receive worship. I just can't believe America voted a rank amateur into office when the world stage is at the bottom of the ninth inning, 2 outs, and we're 3 runs behind in the game. Now that he's about to get us struck out, will mass opinion change? or will we make Polly Anna excuses for his incompetence, and leveraging for his bankster/NWO buddies? I'm afraid the later will hold true.

He's so darned charming, and handsome I just can't help it. I like him even though he's ruined my nation, my finances, and my future. I work 6 of my 8 hours a day to feed dead beats that eat better than my children due to his "spread the wealth" socialism, but darn it he just brings a grin to my exhausted, old face. I'm just glad to know that at the end of the day Der Furher loves me, and is watching over me as a good savior should.

OK I have to stop now. I just puked a little.

It is painfully obvious this is not a site that out and out promotes Obama. If anything, it is one that clearly mocks him. I smell a conservative rat behind this site.
What you fail to address is that everything on the site is REAL!
Nothing was fabricated for the sole benefit of this site.
Every quote, every picture, every piece of "art" is authentic.
This site, parody or not, collects all these things into one place displaying the message in totality.

The intention of this site is irrelevant.
Either way it succeeded in demonstrating a disturbing trend.

This is a google blog, it takes all of 15 minutes to set the thing up. I don't see why this is so alarming, there are crazies all over the place today. It is a blog, not a news outlet and I am willing to bet that the numbers on this blog are pretty limited.

Obama is a man, a man that appeared on the scene and skyrocketed to success. I believe this was well orchestrated and was in the works by the PTB from the time he did that speech at the convention. He is fallible and is only going to be able to do what they let him do, or tell him to do.

I see this ending in one of two ways.

1. He will bring forth the plans of the banksters and be just a puppet.

2. He will balk the system and sadly end up like Abraham, Martin and John.

The only people who claim he is the messiah are those intent on destroying him.

That's just not true. Obama himself used narcissistic self-messianic language all through his campaign. And there are plenty of his followers who use the same language.

what's more, i find it even more appalling that someone could actually believe such a website would be created about Obama in a serious nature.

I didnt visit the website. I refuse to give them a "click" from my IP address.

*sigh*

Nobody thinks of Barack Obama in a biblical sense.
Only angry bitter racist republicans and bigots use the term "messiah" to describe someone that voted for Obama.

Get over yourselves already.

You lost. Try better next year with a candidate that doesnt think foreign relations has something to do with being close to Russia.

Hardly, not only have I pointed out that the blog was not originated from an Obama supporter, but that it is indeed nothing more than a bit of satire.

The intention of this site is irrelevant.
Either way it succeeded in demonstrating a disturbing trend.

On the contrary, the intention of the blog is wholly relevant. It's purpose is nothing short of mockery and detraction. Truth be told, it is all too easy to take the image of any public individual and hold them to incredible amounts of ridicule through inordinate amounts of flattery.

Take Sarah Palin, for example. It would be simple enough to gather all sorts of flattering pictures, illustrations and other imagery. Take it a step further and pull together all those wonderful, bright and shiny phrases others proclaimed about her. Now throw in any odd quote that may have passed her lips. Hell, toss in entire transcriptions. What you'll end up with will be nothing short of a shrine to Palin, replete with the prerequisite pew kneeling stands and tapered candles ready to light.

That's pretty much the case with this blog. While each sentiment, photograph or illustration may stand alone with ease, it is the amassing of these same items as a whole that creates the satire.

In short, this type of satire could easily be done to just about anyone.

Quite clearly, Obama bashing is in full swing. After all, isn't that the intent of this thread?

Honestly, you know just as well as I do how easy it is to cherry-pick quotes (and there's a plethora to choose from) out of context, and twist it into just about any argument you want.

That's all this blog is doing. Just as your doing. Nothing more, nothing less.

1 - Pathetic use of the race card.

2 - Pointing out the near biblical adoration some have for Obama doesn't make someone a 'racist' or a 'bigot'.

3 - 'Messiah' isn't a term used to describe someone who voted for Obama .. it's the term used to describe how some feel TOWARDS Obama.

4 -

Actually, I think the OP thought the site was real and was surprised.
I could be wrong, but I get the impression that the OP didn't realize
it was a mockery of some of the disciples of Obama.

Just as your doing. Nothing more, nothing less.

Cherry picking, eh? I dunno ... not all Obama supporters were/are Obamabots, but there were plenty who behaved in a worshipful way and who made/make mockery very easy. Some still act that way. But thankfully many are waking up.

I could care less about the actual intent of the site. The images, quotes and stories paint a vivid picture of the lunacy that believed enough in an unaccomplished politician to actually vote him into the highest office in our nation.

Well, we are certainly getting what we paid for. A charlatan snake oil salesman who fooled the nation and the world. However, that's what you get most of the time when you hire a lawyer to manage anything. Then again, Obama was most likely pre selected for the job anyway.

Your right, it doesnt. I never claimed it did.

I said only the racist bigoted angry bitter people used the term messiah to associate with the people who voted for Obama.

I never said using the word made you racist, it just so happens that the bigots who hate obama for being a muslim (tho he's not) or being black, are the ones who are touting the "messiah" claim the most.

This is an unnecessary and irrelevant use of the ad hominem argument.
If a racist says "This table is flat", either the table is flat or it is not.
The truth of a proposition is not determined by who said it, or by why they said it.
If I am a racist and I say "This bacon is too chewy", instead of replying "You only speak against this bacon because you are racist," wouldn't you have more fun if you could observe "That's because you ain't eating bacon, it's beef jerky"?
I think it would be more fun for everybody.

No. I'm seeing what you wrote. Despite the fact that others may refer to Obama supporters as Obamabots or Obamatrons, just as other may refer to Bush as Bushbots, is beside the point. The truth is you relish bandying about these names quite casually for no other reason than to imply insult.

Do you really feel it necessary to debase your opinions and thoughts by utilizing such insults? Sadly, it accomplishes nothing more than negating any respect one could honestly harbor of your opinion.

Rise above the fray and let your thoughts be heard without the blatant name calling. It's simply undignified.
