Thank you for those informative links, esp. the one on 'terminator seeds'.

On topic:

This is an extremely important thread, not only because of the suicides, but because of the manipulation of the world's food supply by Monsanto. etc.

Not enough people are aware of this potential danger to the populace.

Unnatural Selection

Controlling Our Food

Future Of Food

A few documentaries dealing with gmo's, Monsanto and the likes. It's quite horrific what they have done to the food supply. The situation in India has been going on for a while now. They drink pesticide to commit suicide because they got lied to and everything is falling apart for them. Then Big Agro comes in, buys the dead farmers land and sets up shop with GMO crap.

One of the biggest problems facing us as a species, IMO. They have the potential with the terminator gene to kill off all plant life on the planet. It's a doomsday scenario, I know, but the potential is there. We also do NOT know the effects of GMO's on humans.

Monsanto is as evil as they come. They once put out a memo stating they could not lose one dollar in sales. How greedy is that? The top execs at Monsanto all have worked for the government, they just go back and forth, making laws that enable Monsanto - and other biotech firms - to make a load of bank on a product that doesn't work. They literally make money off products that fail, that are proven to not work the way they are advertised. They then leave their cushy government job and go back to a cushy job at Monsanto, making bank off the laws they passed. It's sickening the corruption in this, but the corruption is everywhere nowadays.

Wow that is insane...says to me that that number will not only increase but possibly multiply....

Horrible news for India..even worse for the world considering we may start seeing more things of this nature come out from a tragedy like this...

Honestly very shocking...and makes me wonder if this is just the start of things to come.
