This image was taken on February 13th 2009 in Ontario, Canada, my mom isn't really the best at taking ufo photos and it would of been good if we had another object to see how far it is.
At first, the blue lights were split far apart then they came close to eachother and then stayed there for atleast a hour before my mom went back in the house because she got bored.

Looks promising! Even though the camera pic is shaky, one can still perceive some details.

They look like ufrings

Crushed pop cans in blue light!!!

Hmm.....I don't recognize them from any other UFO footage, can't really help you...

Was there anyone else that saw it? Or anything known to be going on that might explain them? Did they spin at all, or anything?

Cool you're from Ontario. That's what I really wanted to say

What part of Ontario was this btw? I've actually never seen anything out here, but plenty when I was out west. Not sure why that is.
(plenty as in weird, not easily explained, but I don't necessarily believe in UFOs yet..)

Maybe they're from another arm of the Milky Way, or maybe they're hear to deceive us? I also need a few more words to get to reply.

Looks like two slinkys tossed in the air and photographed.

Cant really comment on these as the pic does not show much.

Probably 2 giant ballon lanterns filled with swampgas that have a bag of space dust attached to it in a string that are unfocused...that stands on a burning oilfields with an applied blue photo filter in photoshop.

Think I got it all nailed. Oh wait.... HOAX HOAX!!

There. Now I am done.

/bad_humor_off

I think this is one intriguing image. My first guess would be "weather phenomenon", but that is just a guess. Could really be anything.

Thanks for sharing.

You couldn't provide the original picture could you?

The one straight off the camera that is.

Would be handy if you do.

Since this is a pic from your moms camera you can get the original? That might shed some light on the issue. We need to take a close look at the exif data etc.

Looks almost like two eyes of a gas stove lit in the dark and photographed.

Also looks like it could be a type of wet microburst, one with static electricity build up. Just my idea though I have never seen a microburst like this, takes a stretch of the imagination to visualize.

OP, your right, it would've been nice to have some type of secondary imagery in the photo for comparison. How large would you say the objects in question are in reality?

This was my first thought too.

I'm sure a small amount of photoshop manipulation on this image could give us what we see in the OP:

Not saying this is the case, just that it's a possibility.

HA! This one is simple. It's swamp gas from venus that is reflecting off of a weather balloon then refracted through a street lamp (victorian style) across the ripples of a lake mixed in with moonlight during a solar eclipse.

Done and debunked!

/sarcasm off
It's 2 gas stove burners. Nice try though.

I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and my mom lives in Barrie, Ontario she used a digital camera, and i dunno if she still has it on it.

shes the type of person who takes a picture then puts it on the computer and deleted all the picture on the camera.

she never said anything about it spinning, probably because it was to far away to see.

There was other report of UFO's on the morning of February 14th which had a blue glow, but also had a tint of orange, which is not in this image.

Well then you should have the original file on your moms computer? Or does she conviniently edit images she takes and doesn't keep the originals?

i don't have, she probably does. Halifax and Barrie are far away, around a 2 and a half hours plane rid.

She doesn't have internet? If you get that picture make sure to post it on a service that doesn't alter it.

@Blundo:

Hmmm I think I see this every day, IN my kitchen that is

Looks like them gas-things on my stove where I cook daily, only your mom's picture is been set upside down.

What gave you away? The WHITE spots on the both objects: reflection of camera-light on metal.

I wish this one was REAL but doubt it all the way.

To all the people who think they're extremely funny saying "ha ha, maybe its marsh gas" and thinking yourself so funny.
Perhaps the OP does have a methane burning stove, in which case it IS marsh gas.

Now, don't you feel like silly school boys?

I've starred esteay812 who saw what I saw, which was two gas rings on a stove, and one to Chadwickus for the fine 'Mothership' picture

No stars in the sky that night eh? That's what made me think it was fake straight away.

Anyway who knows, id go with the gas stove theory, but could be anything.
