What was that you were saying about school? Since you have not done your homework, I thought I would post the definitions of Democracy, and also of Fascism.

The Unitied States is a Republic....in which case you may refer to previous posts and additionally below...thank you.

A republic is a state or country that is not led by a hereditary monarch[1][2] but in which the people (or at least a part of its people)[3] have an impact on its government

Democracy is a form of government in which power is held indirectly by citizens in a free electoral system

Fascism is a radical, authoritarian and nationalist ideology.[1][2][3][4] Fascists advocate the creation of a single-party state.[5] Fascists believe that nations and races are in perpetual conflict whereby only the strong can survive by being healthy, vital, and by asserting themselves in combat against the weak.

For example and to enhance understanding...

In the 1920s democracy flourished, but the Great Depression brought disenchantment, and most of the countries of Europe, Latin America, and Asia turned to strong-man rule or dictatorships. Fascism and dictatorships flourished in Nazi Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal, as well as nondemocratic regimes in the Baltics, the Balkans, Brazil, Cuba, China, and Japan, among others.[38]

Cherry picking from a single source I see.

Fascism when it is practiced in a voting context is a clear majority rule. It is a tyranny in that way as it IS a tyranny of the majority. It is a rule by a single party at any time. Not necessarily a single party-state, but potentially a series of single-party rule. However, due to the obvious dangers of this system it is very likely for such a state to move from a voting fascims to a pure fascist state without any indirect representation of the populace. Just what you've defined that democracy is.

Democracy is a rule through indirect mean BY THE PEOPLE, by citizens. Indeed this is the root of the word democracy. Most of the voting populace is represented indirectly through their chosen representatives, EVEN IF THEY ARE A MINORITY.

Feel free to look around at some actual political theory, instead of cherry picking to back up your propaganda.

Democracy is NOT a tyranny of the majority.

Do your have a source for your claims? I would not mind a cherry picked source...if you have even one.

wordnetweb.princeton.edu...

Democracy:

A political philosophy or movement based on or advocating such a system of government.
Oppressive, dictatorial control.

Democracy

Tiananmen: The flame burns on

Twenty years ago tanks rolled into Beijing's Tiananmen Square to crush the biggest pro-democracy movement in history. Hundreds were killed, thousands jailed and many fled to escape persecution. Here exiled leaders of the student revolution tell their remarkable stories and reveal how, after being forced to build new lives, they remain haunted by its bloody legacy

Communism can not be defined in a sentence.

Check out Capital: Volume I. Marx does not have all the answers. Sometimes he is blatantly wrong, particularly when it comes to the vanity of human kind. However, his observations can be incredibly insightful.
I have yet to read the other volumes.

His theories on Modes of Production and Wage-Labour are quite brilliant, in my opinion. It caused me to completely change my way of life. It drove me to quit working for Kroger and pursue a hobby, possibly career, as a luthier.

Communism today, as defined by the majority of Americans, resembles very little to what Karl Marx had in mind.

Also, I would be hard pressed to call China communists.

Edit: Not that the Chinese Government aren't bastards. Screw them. They are even worse than America in certain aspects.
