Does this make a federal sales tax illegal? (revisited)

Sorry gang but the original thread was lost in transit while moving to another forum. under advisement from higherups, I'm starting it again! Here goes...

About a week ago, I was purusing the Constitution for one of my kid's shool projects and found something I considered VERY interesting.

Article. 1.
Section. 9.

Clause 5: No Tax or Duty shall be laid on Articles exported from any State.

my argument was there should be no federal sales tax on cigarettes or booze. Better yet, no Federal Sales Tax at all! I'm asking all of the kind hearted who posted on this thread to, by the best of their memory, post again their comments. I'd sure appreciate it!
